I am not sure if it me being overly confident but mongering is usually an in and out low key deal and we should be safe and not have to worry about being robbed or stabbed. Going to a KB or strip bar is a different story though.

I know there a ton a of trouble in Keamoku but its around large groups of people. Just do what you always should do when mongering Remain low key, don't attract attention, get in and out, and most importantly use your gut feeling. If the area or AMP does not feel right move on. If you going out to an AMP and your worried about beingmugged or stabbed don't do it and go where you feel safe.

I usually do not go to AMP's that late at night (after midnight) , but one of my favorite girls called me in and promised me all BB services for the first time so who am I to say no? After I finished with her as I was walking down stairs and back to my parked car I noticed there were a bunch of local thugs hanging out in the parking lot looking for a fight. One idiot even approached me and quoted the infamous: "Hey you like beef bra?" I quickly ran to my car and opened the trunk electronically (thank you BMW) and grabbed my crossbow. Yes I pack a crossbow. Shipped it in from Texas many years ago. Once they saw I was packing a weapon they backed off. Lets just say it was a scary moment. I only showed it long enough to get in my car and go and then I hightailed it out of there. Of course once I got on the street (Young street heading toward Piikoi) I pulled over and rebagged my crossbow. I was shaking the whole time. Thankfully I did not have to actually use it. But I would have if they would have charged at me.

Now I don't go to Nirvana or any AMP for that matter after midnight. And when I do I have my radar on constantly scanning the environment.

However, one of my friends did get a wise remark from one of the young guys hanging outside at Wardplex. As he walked up the stairs, one of them said to him:

You decide to intervene and say something to him because you think the person is bothering or annoying mama and the girls.

My friend didn't like the comment that the guy made but, he realizes his other friends were there so, that guy felt brave to say that. Plus, my friend is not the violent type. He just went there, ignored him, did his thing and left. So he got called some name, but, it will pass and he forgot that it ever happened.

Well, to offer a counter story, this happened to me once:

I was on my way to the Wardplex about ten years ago or so around 1am-ish. I was going down Keeaumoku and I notice a dual-cab pickup with about six young local guys pushing it down the street. I slowed down and asked if everything was alright. They all in unison asked if I had jumper cables. I said I did so I pulled over on the side across from what used to be Tower Records. I hooked up the cables and gave 'them a jump.

Now, they were all pretty well on their way to being shit-faced. After I jumped them, they insisted I go with them to Saigon Passion III and they'd buy me a couple of rounds and a lap dance. I had my heart set on seeing Kay at Worlds that night and knew I had a window of time I had to make. I thanked them and said that I was on my way home and would be in trouble with the missus if I stayed out any later. They were pretty insistent but finally relented. As we all got in our cars to leave, one of them ran out of the truck to my open window. I thought he was going to punch me or something. He throws $60 dollars in my lap. I guess they took up a collection ($10 from each). Before I could protest, he ran off and they sped away.

So, that went straight to Kay 20 minutes later!

Some kids are actually straight up dudes! Too bad you never know which ones you'l run into on a given night!

To armed yourself with crowbar might not be a good idea though. Some might get ticked off and who know what if one of them might have armed with a gun. To visit AMP or KB late at night at keeaumuku area is definitely not safe, too many drunks, homeless, thugs hanging around, some looking for fights, some looking for money. One night came out from the Casino bar, a big ugly looking guy asked me for $5, I told him I don't have it, he followed me to my car and stared at me until I went into my car.

Unless the law has changed to make this a felony in the state of Hawaii. So at this moment regardless of what may or may not have happened she either did get picked up, got charged her crime, fought in court or paid the fine. But for prostitution there is no time for a sentence and thus what would she be working off? As stated before I don't know the specific HRS. I do have a life and well I do I is that this isn't a felony because this board would be in jail. Except maybe me because I know how to not use my home IP address. Laters gators.

They're so bad, I saw 2 guys sit down. Look at the menu. Then few mins later walk out. The girl that served me was cute, but didn't seem to want to be there. The other one. Well. The court has the discretion to impose imprisonment of 30 days for a Prostitution Conviction (HRS 712-1200). The only types of criminal charges that do not carry imprisonment as a possible sentence are "Criminal Violations" such as Simple Trespass (HRS 708-815) for example. Also remember fellow mongers, as of April 2013 Deferred Acceptance Pleas are no longer available to the johns.
