If you're going by cab, the closest one to you is Supra, 1333 Connecticut, less than a mile SE of you (you could probably walk it). If you're adventerous and want to try the metro train, I think the Woodley Park-Zoo station is closest to you. Take a red line toward Glenmont to Metro station, then take either a blue (Springfield) or Orange (Vienna) up just one stop to Mcpherson Square. From there Downtown spa is a short walk, 15th street north one block to K, turn right, half a block to vermont, turn left on vermont and you'll see it on the right, address is 1018 vermont.

CPHC is about a mile and a half northwest of you at 3520 Connectitut, I'm not sure if there is a metro station close there. You can always pick up a Washington Post, all the phone numbers are listed daily in the sports section. Give them a call and I'm sure they'll help you with directions. See Trashman's post dated 3/23/04 for a good comparison of the three - I prefer downtown but they all have their good points. You know we expect a post after your visit now!

BTW if you have any intel on Nashville I would appreciate it. I'll be there for a conference the end of April. From their wsg board looks like the action there is sparse. PM me if you know anything.

To follow up on Xsailor, if you walk to the Woodley park Metro station CPHC will be at the next station going out of the city called Cleveland Park. CPHC is at the top of the stairs leading out of the Metro on the side of the same building as the Subway sandwich shop. Very easy. Supra is an easy 1/2 mile walk for you with lots of restaurants & bars along the way.

Not to go on this subject forever:

I've not had as much experience as others on this board, but my experience with AMPs has never resulted in any STDs (yet). I get tested regularly. I've noticed, as others have posted, that the average AMP provider is very clean. Yes, there is a risk, but as we have all experienced, there is skin to skin contact even with a condom, so I do not think there is an appreciable increase in risk. Finally, it is always up to personal preference whether or not to engage in DATY. I have always enjoyed it and it seems to always be received with pleasure by the AMP providers I have experienced.

On a related note. Has anyone been to Panama? I've posted a couple of queries on that board seeking guidance as a gringo, but have had no feedback. If anyone has been there, I'd be interested in hearing your recommendations.

Thanks for the info sailor I will be sure to post a report after the trip. I moved here about 4 years ago and have never been to Nashville so I can't help you there. I have posted enough about the two Memphis AMP's if anyone is heading there. In my advice you DC folks would hate our parlors. I envy the action that seems to be commonplace at the three big AMP's in DC and I look forward to my trip.

Based on the reports and the walking distance I think I will try Supra. I hope that I don't get a hard time since I am not a regular.

Xsailor's comments are correct. But you are actually closer to Supra that he said you are - you are maybe 5 to 6 blocks away at most, walking down CT Avenue and through DuPont Circle itself. You are also closer to the Metro station at DuPont Circle, not the one at Woodley Park (although if the weather is nice you would enjoy the walk to the Woodley Park station).

Downtown, Supra and CPHC are probably the 3 best in DC. But your location is also walking distance to another AMP option, "Therapy @ M Street" at 1829 M Street, 3rd floor, between 18th & 19th Sts. Please don't confuse this place with the non-AMP MP on the second floor in the same building, which features gorgeous college girls but HJ-only action at $120 or even higher.

And yes, check out the Post's Sports section to see all of the block ads for the numerous AMPs in the DC metropolitan area - it's amazing how many block ads you'll see. The Sunday Post has virtually no ads for AMPs in the Sports Section. Friday usually has the most ads (some AMPs only advertise a couple of days a week).

I was at a Korean resturant on Monday evening (3/29), Yetchan in Annandale, VA and saw Maya and Coco. Yes the old Coco from Downtown, she had her American (male) friend with her. Thursday lunchtime I went to Sun behind the MCI Center looking for Nana. Turns out she has gone as they all do sooner or later but found that the place is not under new management as I previously thought. The old Mamasan greeted me as a good returning customer.

I heard that Mirage Spa was raided by the cops. They even had the bull horn asking everyone inside to come out. Downtown is closed because of this, again. Guys why all of a sudden the cops are cracking down on the spas? We may need to find a new hobby. Looks like it is time to be very careful in the places we visit.

Headed down to DC this past week for the first time. Luckily I read the posts before I went and knew where to go. As a big fan of amps I've been disappointed in most cities on the East coast and never had more than HJ. I decided to give Downtown a try based on previous posts.

I remembered something about how bad the stairwell was, but I had no idea. The smell of piss, rats, rotting food, etc almost made me turn around. I'd suggest taking a deep breath before entering the building or exiting the spa and running the four flights of stairs. The positive is this place is in a nice area right near hotels and the convention center.

Shit, this is not good news! Actually I did notice yesterday downtown did not have it's usual ad in the sports section of the post. Could be we are giving LE more info than he needs to know, what are others views on this?

I liked your post about Yetchan Monday nite.
