What's up Chicago! I'm new to the area visiting the downtown here on business this week. I've hit a few other areas around the country (check out my posts) and this is my first time in the downtown area so I'm looking for any suggestions for some company while I am here. I'm more of a SW seeker since I usually get more bang for my buck. Anything along the Michigan Ave area would be great.

Michigan Ave. Is a tourist mecca and a place to spend lots of money on legitimate businesses. You have to venture out of the loop for SW activity. And then, I can't say I would recommend it for a person new to town or just visiting for a short stay. You're better off paying for an Escort to visit your hotel room.

If you are determined to find a sw, then head west on Madison from downtown. After passing Western Ave. continue going west and keep your eyes open. Mostly bsw's(a few wsw's) along Madison. You could actually drive until you hit Central. If you haven't found anything by then(unlikely) turn around and head back east. WARNING! These are some tough areas especially if you are not familar with them. Also, Chicago Police Dept. does do sting operations-so-like the previous poster wrote-CALL AN ESCORT!

Any streetwalkers you find near Michigan Ave. will certainly be "Operation Angel" CPD sting operations. But they will not be there anyway since Boul Mich is definitely not SW territory.
For hookers in the area visit the Red Head Piano Bar on Randolph. My friend just spotted some at the Chicago Hilton and Towers on S. Michigan in the upstairs bar (not the Irish bar on the ground floor). Also check out the Tilted Kilt on Wabash. On crowded nights there are some hookers in the crowd.
Sorry to tell you, but downtown Chicago is not cheap. You won't find any discount poontang without heading off into the 'hoods.

I have mongered for more than a few years and feel I can spot a pro. I was at the Kilt on a busy night recently and spotted a pair of very, very well dressed hot women in thir mid to upper twenties/maybe early thirties at the other end of the bar. They were acting flirty with some young, suited executive types. It was obvious to me that they were on the prowl and not for play dates but pay dates.
I would have gone over by them but I respected their game. (Plus I didn't have enough money with me that night to make good.)

It's too bad that I didn't read this before I went to the Kilt on Wabash after work today. I spotted two fairy hot women sitting a table very near the bar. They were dressed pretty hot and talking and drinking. And I'm like. What are these two attractive women doing coming to the Tilted Kilt together on a night like tonight? Now it seems so obvious. You are so right. And spotting them in pairs is a real way to tell what the deal is.
On a side note, the Red Roof Inn is a good place to bring a drunk girl to bang (or a hooker). It's on Ontario off of Michigan Ave. And like $65 a night. It's a real steal for the loop.

Bar pick ups are a true hit or miss if you are in a nice bar/hotel. Of course shit hole bar pick ups can be very easy if the bar is on a known SW stroll. Cleveland used to have some great ones by the airport and quality was very high.

You are right in an area that is known for sw's. From the I-55 going south along Cicero Ave.all the way to Archer, is an area that sw's can be had. Then going east on 47th St. from Cicero is another long stroll going all the way to Ashland. You can find a mix of b or w/sw's even some hispanic. WARNING! Chicago PD does do stings in these areas. One spot is that gas station on Cicero just south of 47th, but many other spots as well.

She had business cards, and said that she treated it like sport: Sometimes she'd see a guy sitting at the bar with his wife/gf, and he'd give her a knowing look, and then as she described it, "One way or another, when she gets up to goto the bathroom or whatever, Imma get my card in his hand. I'm not saying the Knickerbocker is a known spot.that's just where she would happen to stay when she was working Chicago. But every Mag Mile/Gold Coast hotel bar has the same thing going on, discreetly to some, obvious to anyone into the scene. Sometimes, it's overt, like this escort with her business cards; more often, and especially at the non-hotel bars in the Viagra Triangle, it's chicks looking to find guys that are loaded. The only difference is, escorts get paid up front, civilian girls have to wait years.
It's been a few years that those few girls standing on Cicero cross 290. Never witness anyone got busted for posing. LE drive by all the time but no one bothered to give them trouble. I assume they all work for someone. Read a lot about pimp, rather stay away if it is true.

That area is well known for rip-offs, robberies ,etc. The ladies do get busted there . I had one of the girls who worked that area quite often as a regular for many years and she got nailed by the cops often. Ended up at Dwight with a felony prost. case from an arrest there.

The triangle between Carmine's, Tavern on Rush and Gibsons. If your not at least 30 years older then your lady, you don't count. :)
