I'm tipping well, but not wasting money buying nekos.

Anyway, I'm sticking with the boycott because I feel detached from the KBGs and still getting some attention.

Spending money wastefully is not their cup of tea (they used to save an astounding 30% of their net income in K land vs. 10-12% in the USA). IMO, they look for weaknesses; if no more, they try to create it anyway they can.

Tried Maya's on Sheridan but it was just too packed. Many girls and a few old ladies. Of the girls I saw, 3 or 4 of them belong in an AMP; IMO hostessing is a waste of material with looks like that.

Moonflower had a hot local or mainland 20-something tanned oriental girl with a tight figure and bleached hair. She was very busy and getting drinks quite frequently. Eye candy was alright, better than Butterfly or New Casino at present. I met a slim comparatively tall girl with a tight curvy swimmer's body and a so-so face, somewhat tanned; sorry usually my memory is good but I can't remember her name. She was the only one with that kind of figure.

Checked Splash but it was a "sausage fest". I didn't see anything hot.

Crystal Palace SUCKED. Man they blew so much money trying to pimp that place; hostesses were few and average at best.

I then went to Evergreen and you can guess what that was like. Lisa's dad is in town so she is off for awhile. Linda is on vacation, too. Aside from Miho, I didn't see Yuko or the other j-girls.

Good recon and boycott.[/QUOTE]I normally hit the kb's at least once a week, but usually only a few bars, like hitting the bars along kap (new c, butterfly, d'amour, evergreen and eve's) or sheridan (maya's moonf, camelot, secret and maybe splash). Most of the other bars have been slow lately, but maya's seems to be busy. They have new girls also, I noticed some girls from crystal palace working there now. Even camelot looks slow lately. But I think it's because of tax time, every year it's usually slow about this time of the year.

Funny, a number of girls normally wouldn't give me the time of day but with it being so slow they are coming up to me for business. I usually tell them that they never wanted my company before so why would I want their company now?

Sorry, I'm not really part of your boycott but my rule is that I will only spend money on girls that will allow play and I usually tell the girls that first, a few leave but there are a number of girls that do play. This isn't a recent thing so many of the girls that I sit with aren't doing it because of the boycott or slow bar.

This was down the street. I have no way of knowing what happened after she got in the car, but there's always hope. In my mind I was kinda rooting for him. Right now there aren't many girls like that even working as hostesses; at least he got that far and hopefully more. She did seem a little wasted though.

He was probably dropping her off. Nothing worse than taking a drunk bar girl home as she could always puke in/on your car, then you still have to carry/drag her into her place. Been there and done that too many times. The sex wasn't worth it.

Boycott continues. Went to Crystal Palace (too big and no girls). The waiter claimed that all the "hot girls" are already in the rooms. But this was at 9 pm, so I doubt that. They should make the girls come out every half hour and do a walk around so we can at least see whos around. Had one drink and went to Banzai for a drink (dead, dead, dead) and then to Napa Valley for some overpriced food. Had one cute local girl, I think she was mentioned in the Viet thread at Moonflower. Play is still available there. Kim, Sophia and Jay all play upstairs and everything is offered. Standard damage as you tip at an AMP and you get rushed. Just go to the AMP.

I think it is highly unlikely that the guy got "take-out". Probably just a ride home. I hear you Alack, my rule of thumb on tip is about $1 per drink. Unless they come around and ask you if you want another round before you finish your drink or sit by you and talk story and don't ask for a drink at all then I tip a bit more just out of courtesy. Table tip is for service and if there's none, I'm ok with leaving nothing especially if I know I'm not coming back to that bar for a long while or at all.

So this past Sunday was purely dead all over town. I can say that the busiest place was Maya's. Everygreen and Napa was slow too, but hey, it's a Sunday.

Personally, I stick with something simple, like beer, until I know I can trust the bartender. A shot is not so evident as to brand; I trust the local guys at Evergreen, for example, to fill my order honestly, but with kgirls chances are they'll use something cheaper than what you called for especially if you are at a table and thus not looking. I order that sort of drink at the bar and watch to see that they don't pull any stunts. They may or may not know how to make a margarita so you might want to be at the bar for that.

They should have a menu board; usually domestic beers, for example, are around $3 after happy hour. Hostess drinks would be $20. Do not pay with an amount that would require change (such as paying with a 50) to avoid any "misunderstandings", advances on subsequent drinks, or B-S upsells.

Also some places are just too pilau so I would never drink from their glassware.

If you are unfamiliar with this place, I would sit at the bar and scope things out rather than go straight to a table (I still do this even at bars I've been going to for years, just because staff moves around and girls come and go). You can then see girls who were not visible when you first entered (the better ones are oftentimes taken) and observe who comes up for drinks every 2 seconds (the ROBs) and who is more reasonable about it, among other things.

Whether they approach you is YMMV. Girls are different now; I seldom get approached, usually get treated like LE even by the ms sometimes.

You are right - you don't want to look green or they'll take advantage of you even harder. Like Rap Reiplinger said, walk in there like you own the place.

Not sure if it is the boycott or the economy but there is definitely a change in the girls willingness to do take out. I was at Evergreen several weeks ago after 2 and brought CC a couple drinks. She asked if I had a car and we walked out to the parking lot I felt like I was raped. I was actually nervous someone would walk by but she didn't care. Well it's certainly nothing new. Hostesses have been f-ing customers since before many of us were born, and will continue to long after we're old and retired from bars. I'm glad for guys who are able to get private time with the girl. At any rate, I was only responding to Un Holy's post, who in retrospect doesn't need such a post to know where to go to get action.

You're right; that girl should not have played right there in the lot as that might have drawn the wrong kind of attention to her bar.

Went to Hello Eve. Tomoko is back from Japan, if anyone's interested. Still whiney as hell.

The rest of the Makaloa strip sucked. D'Amour smelled like saliva and had almost no hostesses. Bought Gina at Evergreen a couple since she was looking FINE and gave a little bit of nice massage.
