Do you know a sergent's annual compensation with benfits is equal to about 150 k a yr!! Not bad for a highschool graduate with just 10 year on the job experience, and then in another 10 years you can reitire with full benfits, no wonder California going broke. So with that career logic why risk it going after gang bangers when you can just sit back eating donuts chief wiggins style and live a upper middle class life style without ever firing a shot.
I was a bit surprised to hear this. These days you will usually not see any sign the cops are conducting a sting. There is no sign of any tow trucks or patrol cars in the area.

okay (if they focus on the pimps and johns) how are they going to get the girls in a position to help them? by all means they should get these fake pimps / gangsters off the streets! especially anyone messing with kids! i've never seen any **** myself. you say "young"(as in coed) and they want to use hyperbole as propaganda!
alot of these girls are independent while alot are managed. however, they only stick with management if they feel its best for them. they are mindfucked! most the girls we see are homegrown and not without the option to walk away at anytime. they love their bf / pimps and that's why they do this (on top of whatever emotional baggage they're carrying around). i doubt they'll get any girls to snitch on their pimps. as well as leave the game (with little punishment for their crimes). these girls need to be scared straight as well as therapy. just like the rest of the legal system (the core of the problem will never be addressed!
