Seems like going into this I worry more about LEO rather than crooks, I see a legit FB page I move forward.
At one point I started to walk away, didn't follow my instinct or what I've read and learned.

Asked me to call her when I got to the spot. When I arrived I called and she asked me to text her a photo of myself. Oh hell phuck naw! Not sure what monger tree I'd have to fall from to hit my head and do some stupid sh! T like that but I laughed and asked if she was for real. She hung up on me. I called another provider that I knew operates out of that notel and went on my way. And naturally who do I see in the lobby at the front desk on my way in to my back up provider?? Yep. The reasons they may want it:
-See if you look like a reputable person (or classy, in some cases).
-Be able to know it's you when looking thru their peephole in the motel room door.
-See if it's someone they know to avoid (or know in real life).
-Evidence in case you're sending it to a cop.
I used a pic of a working-class looking dude in a t-shirt and sent it to a lady who responded with "I'm sorry but you don't look like my type". A week or 2 later I did the dance again and when she asked I sent one of a FB friend-of-friend in a button-down shirt and sportscoat with a snifter of brandy in "cheers!" position and got the "I'd love to meet" response.
