But I've had some individual successes with providers lowering their prices. I don't try it with girls that post their prices in their ads because they usually get annoyed and point out that their donations are clearly posted. But for providers who don't post their prices, or when they say they have some kind of special available that day, I'll ask the price and if it's too high I politely tell them that while I'm sure they're worth that amount it's more than I was looking to spend. That usually leads to more conversation during which I'll let them know what's in my budget (usually 100-140 per hh). I have about a 30%-40% success rate with providers with whom I had good phone chemistry. What has worked for me is to keep any negotiation light and indirect.
