Haven't been there in ages. Went there very late on Saturday night and nothing was going on at all.

Okay, one report says the doors are back on at the booths. Then the next (or 2nd) report after that just 4 days later says the doors are not there. WTF?? Is management installing/removing doors on a daily basis? If I were to guess I would have to discount Ed Bass's review. I don't have any reason to question Ed in particular but doesn't it seem odd that there seem to be several reports of newbies going to the ABS and hitting the jackpot with multiple women playing while the established members of the forum tend to find the place deserted?

In my experience, which is not very extensive, there's no "good time" to go. It's impossible to tell when a couple will show up. Most of the time it's a sausage fest. Then out of the blue, a couple will come in. You just have to take your chances. I'd like to hear those with more experience of the place weigh in on the question

Unless they have changed Sundays are Gay/ bi/ tranny days. That would kinda explain the crowd you found. As far as days/ times to visit the old wisdom was Friday and Saturday night about 8 pm till close. It was rare that you wouldn't find something going on during those times. Lately attendance has dropped and what used to be hit or miss is now mostly miss. Of the few women/ couples that still go not many post their visits ahead of time anymore so it is very much a matter of being in the right place at the right time. I know the feeling of driving down to find the place empty, been there done that way to many times lately. Frankly, I don't even bother anymore unless I'm in the area already and have time. Even then I won't go in if there are only a few cars in the lot. I wouldn't call it a lost cause, but I definately wouldn't make it plan "A" for taking care of business.

We know the place is dead. What do we think caused it? What can we do to bring it back? Was it the media attention, too many parties, different levels of prices, changing entrance fee, government interference, why don't the ladies come here anymore, etc?

There was a very active campaign by some MP do-gooders to close the place down. I believe that had something to do with it.

I don't think you can narrow it down to any one cause. The police/ media attention was probably the biggest reason, but there are other more mundane reasons as well. Some people moved out of the area, some had issues with the management, and some seem to have simply moved on to other venues. Even though the parties always struck me as a waste of money they were popular with the couples, so I doubt that had anything to do with it. I doubt it was price either since the ladies/ couples get a pretty good price break.
I have brought a lady friend of mine in there a couple times. She had a good time, but as soon as she found out about the news thing she said she wasn't going back because she was scared that her family and friends would find out what she was up to. I'm sure the same thought occured to many others as well. The thing that is going to determine if the place regains its former glory is whether or not the manangement is able to convince people that it is safe to come there without having to worry about issues with the police or whether or not you are going to be filmed for the 10 o'clock news. The management seems to have launched a massive "nothing wrong here" PR campaign. It still remains to be seen how well that works.
All this talk of how dead everything is. There was a nice turnout on Monday. We were both a little shocked to see how many people were there. We had a real great time. Anyone have a report to post? I would say she is one of the better looking girls that has been there in a while, but I am obviously biased. I look foward to hearing from anyone who was there on Monday.
