I have a question for those that go and partake in this hobby in a frequent basis. Those who just do it on occasion can also contribute to this question. Do you guys, after seeing a provider (s), go see a doctor to give you a check-up given the dangers inherent in this hobby just in case there are potential issues to keep an eye on? Or it it a case where you will only see a doctor if something isn't right.

If it's all covered, I say yearly check-up is good, I've done it via CVS, just make the appointment, it's fast and easy.
If you prefer not to visit, you can order something like this. Kind of expensive though.

It's where many in the adult industry go to get tested. I know a few MILF porn stars that I play with whenever they're in town shooting new scenes or are here for the annual AVN convention. I make sure to get tested right before I see any of them, even though they never ask to see my test results. I guess they trust me enough that they feel they don't need me to prove to them that I'm clean but I always get tested beforehand.
Randomly wonder what this industry is going to look like in 5-10 years when AI takes over damn near everything. I'm not going to get political here but if you think life as we know is going to look the same or similar in 10 years, you arent paying attention. AI is coming and nobody is stopping it. Some industries will take longer than others for AI to takeover.
Many experts predict that when AI is in full swing, there will be an "abundance of resources and production" meaning everyone will in theory have access to anything they want / need and costs will drop way down and money will become of little to no value. Admittedly, I have my doubts about that but there's way smarter people than me predicting it.
I'm guessing that would essentially kill this business because what girls are going to do this when they have access to all the resources they need? If they don't need money anymore that makes them doing this work useless.
I think what's more likely is money retains value but only a certain percentage of the population will control the vast majority of it meaning they will enjoy the real luxuries of life while everyone else gets scraps or basic needs / resources met. I just cannot fathom money meaning nothing in our world. Can't see it.
In that case the industry survives but only the top 1-2% are going to get to actually partake while the rest get stuck with an AI Robot. Which if you've seen some of the tech out there, its getting pretty good but still a long ways to rival the real thing & human connection.
Just curious what fellow mongers opinions are on this as I find it to be a fascinating discussion.

Not asking to be a dick, but our respective views of AI and it's place in the sun could be wildly different based on how exposed and how we currently use AI.

Just Grok / Gemini when I need to research certain things but haven't really integrated much of it into my life yet.

All the electric and water it needs, not surprised. The people getting replaced might surprise you. I'm thinking Doctors and lawyers, financial "gurus" / "planners". If they're not using AI, I'd be shocked. Had this long, long AI conversation about my porfolio and what I needed and how to get there. I feed it all my lab work, my wife's lab work, the CAT scan of her liver with a tumor, AI saw it. Just by asking. Look at this image.
Ask AI to find a court case like. Whatever and it does the research. Find the law on the books. Here's my assets. Plan a divorce strategy.
Add radiologists to that list. Radiologist went to get a biopsy of something off my wife's lung. They use a robot that basically looks at the live image like a road map and follows the best path to the part they want to snip. Wife's liver tumor, up through the artery in her thigh to map out the liver.
Marketing people. They're toast. Tell AI to do a campaign and your twitter and tic-toc done. Create short videos. Made a "faceless" video a series on Youtube. Create and respond to emails and comments on YT. I haven't even touched Agents or any of that stuff yet. Don't really have a need since not working anymore, but you get the idea.
If you get into politics or religion. You can tell the training behind some of it, definitely. But useful. Yes.
I recently retired from IT. My first personal computer had a 10 mb hard drive. Thought 20 mb upgrade was huge. Like any tech, it's how you use it and half the people out there talking about it are wrong, but you have to figure out which half.
