Well guys I feel everyone's pain regarding the current status of our local AMPs, busts at RL, new ownership at Jin turns them into a sterile environment and shops closing.
Personally I have gone back to a few independents that have kept the juices flowing.
Lets weather this storm and hopefully this too will pass.

Yeah Annapolis area has dried up quick with limited options the last few months. I was forced to go back to my old faithful Lucy for a good massage and a standard HJ last week in Edgewater.

When I was trying to find something more official about Lucy's, I found some probably related articles. Last fall, the Anne Arundel Council / County Executive signed a new law to increase enforcement powers:

Not sure about the legal mechanisms about how this works, but seemingly they'd want to ramp up enforcement once this came into effect. Hence, the RL Therapy enforcement action as well.
Damn, I hope this didn't happen. These LE busts in the area are starting to ramp up. SMH.

I think this report is accurate guys. I went by the Owings and Lothian locations and both were locked and closed. I also called the Deale location and Lucy in Edgewater to no answer. Things might be rough around these parts for awhile. Stay safe.

The red spa sign was on at the Owings and Lothian locations as well, but there's also an open sign that was off and the doors were locked with the lights off.

Located in small strip area next to a nail salon on West St. Stopped in last week since pretty much every option in the area has dried up due to the recent LE busts or whatever is going on in Anne Arundel. Paid. 6 for an hour and a decent to above average massage. Standard finish. Can't remember the providers name, but she was avg in looks and body type. Felt like she was trying to push for an upsell of a HJ, but we agreed on standard rate. Stay safe.

Both are reliable. I visited two of these after reading a review. Pepsi at PGA was awesome and Pinky at AA was great. If you prefer bigger frame then check Pinky.
I tried calling the Ownings store today to a cell number that the manager gave me. Two calls, no response. That as they say is that.
The closing of RL and Lucy's is just the beginning for Anne Arundel County. Recently the county has pushed an effort to flush out sex trafficking and prostitution primarily within the AMP community. Several smaller AMPs, including one the does not offer any extras, were contacted by the police and advised that they must have a massage license and all providers must be licensed by the State. As we know many of the AMPs have some rotation of the girls in their employ and I would guess getting a license is difficult if not impossible. I do not know all the requirements but there are tests and I believe some education requirements for a license. One provider I used to see reached out to me and told me her boss was contacted by the police and he is just giving up and putting the business up for sale. Just be aware that we may have the same issue that exists in Howard County. As always be safe!

The first was learning while we were dating, which included classes plus a fair amount of at-home study. She passed the exam on her first attempt and was extremely proud of that fact. Actually, there may have been 2 exams, one to test her medical/massage knowledge and the other to test her legal knowledge. After she got the license it took about 1 day for massage shops to contact her, some shops wanted her to work while others wanted to use her license with other girls who were working at the shop.
The second Asian girlfriend had her license before I ever met her. She was also proud of her license and even brought it on one of our dates to show it to me. It is unusual for Asian girls to have a Maryland massage license and they tend to brag about what they have earned. According to this girl, almost all Asian massage girls are without license.
Both of these girls gave massages that were far better than anything I've ever received at the type of AMP discussed in this forum.
Remember that these girl are not native English speakers. Even if they know the massage techniques it is difficult for them to pass any test that is written in English.

I had an itch today and decided to shoot my shot and called GBA. I asked for cookie and they said she is there. The entire time I assumed it was another girl they called cookie. And to my surprise it was Cookie from last year. She told me she just came back 5 days ago and will probably stay until the end of August. If you weren't sure about GBA lately, this should solve that problem for you.

This is the old Escape Massage on Governor Ritchie. Decided to TOFTT looking for a replacement to Lucy's, Jin, Jing Jing Gambrills. Big mistake, massage was one of the worst, limited OTC roaming, and a nasty HJ finish. One of the worst experiences of my AMP monger career. Can't add much more to that. Stay safe. P.S. She put it to my face and I said are you open, she looked at the screen, shook her head, She said something to the phone and held it in my face, it said cleaning lady and she used her hands in a motion like she was wiping something. I guess it is up in the air as to what is going on with Lucy's, Edgewater moving stuff out, all others locked with no one around.
