But in this case, it's good to get these lowlife fucks out in the open. I can kind of understand someone seeing a hot young chick claiming to be 18 or 20, knowing in the back of their mind that there is a possibility she is only 17 and a few months. But anyone knowingly going after a girl that they (know) is 14 or 15 should be hung from their nuts and used for beginners target practice.
I'm sure there was one or two that just said "what the hell" but I would wager most of those sickos were quite proficient, and probably had some experience with other innocents in the past. I've partaken in a few 18 or 19 year old providers in my time, especially when JFL was still around and they were abundant but it just kept nagging at me that it wouldn't be beyond the realm of possibility that these girls could lie about being of legal age just to make a quick buck. If you're unlucky enough to get busted with one, even if she told you she was legal, the law would very likely come down on you hard for child molestation and as we see now, somehow, human trafficking. You'd go from a misdemeanor pandering charge to hardcore felonies in the blink of an eye and could very well have the rest of your life ruined over it.

That's so unfair, because an arrest alone should mean nothing. People get falsely detained and arrested everyday, and then released with no conviction.
If an employer asked you about an arrest, there will always be room to explain what happened. Make sure you let them know that you are innocent of the offense, hence no conviction.
It should be unlawful to ask about arrest records. Convictions is all that should matter. An arrest doesn't make someone guilty.

Me personally. I've never even been a fan of the age of consent being 16 law. I always ignored that law and just stuck to 18 and up.

I've seen an underage sting on youtube which was ripped from a tv show and in the show the cops posted an ad on BP and in the ad the verbiage was something like "I am 18 but I have a friend that's younger. " They will then set up a 2 girl special. Now this was a few lines into the ad and I remember thinking some of the poor schmucks that showed up probably didn't even read the whole ad! I've been on the highway and quickly glancing through ads, skipping the verbiage because I'm trying to hurry up and call the girl before I miss her exit on the highway. So sometimes I don't even read everything.
I know whatever ad these guys responded to could not of listed that they were underage bc I think BP would of flagged it. If they knowingly went there looking for a 14 year old then I think they should def be prosecuted but I think the problem lies in trying to prove that they knew and it was no way that they couldn't of known.

Like others have said, I'm still not sure you can be convicted on intent if you don't actually do anything. I don't think the cops care about a conviction. They got their picture in the paper and a gold star on their record. Those creeps got outed and done is done. With those "high-paying" blue collar jobs (of lack thereof), most will only get a public defender. But, as Oz said, it is a little strange that most were blue collar guys. I would've expected a few more to be white collar types as there are plenty of stupid guys in all income brackets.

If the kid is 17 and looks and acts and represents herself or himself as being over 18, that, of course, while not entirely excusable is a different story. But these offenders were repeatedly told the chatters' ages. There simply is no excuse for this behavior. Maybe, I'm weird, but I never knowingly would involve myself with a minor of any age. In fact, I don't find women by and large under 25 attractive and do not date women under 30. Even if attractive, a women in her 20's lacks the maturity, intelligence, and experience I'm looking for.

How many red flags have to go off if someone you hit up on BP is underage, let alone 14, and then to follow through is even dumber. I'm curious to hear more about this story as it develops.
