By the "clinic" I assume we are talking about the Methadone Clinic run by Brandywine Counseling (BWC) on Lanc A (LA) next to the King Star gas station?
From what I have been told the hours for the methadone clinics are 5 AM to Noon. There seems to be a slug that comes early AM and a healthy group that comes around 11 AM. Wander by at those times and it can be old home day with many milling around. Other times of the day are when they have group counseling sessions. So everyone headed to the Clinic likely have a purpose and a time schedule. The ones coming out of the clinic.
Now there use to be a BWC office across the street and a block further out LA. I was told that this was the HIV / AIDS counseling center. If this was true, then avoiding anyone coming out of that place would be advisable. I believe that office closed down recently.
But that stretch of LA is usually productive fishing grounds. Further out by the West Court Apts, Silver Springs Apts and Court Apts can be productive at times too.[/QUOTE]Cephlapod love, you are my hero.

Had the occasion to drive down MDA recently, something I haven't done in a while. As I was headed down hill saw a thin WSW come out of a bodega eating a soft pretzel. Parked SUVs and my motion in traffic were such that I wasn't able to catch her eye. So down at Beech St, pulled a 180 (ain't DE great!) and started up hill. Saw the target of my affection, but some Monger in a black Jeep was at the curb having a conversation with her through the window (dumb move IMHO. SW rule #9).
Since it didn't look like the dude was getting anywhere I pulled into the bus stop across from the laundry mat and watched. Then out of the corner of my eye to the LEFT, I see another WSW walking down the hill with tight, tight jeans, nice legs and all bundled up against the cold. I tried ignoring her but she made a bee line for my ride. Now I'm still watching the action to my Right and next thing I know the door opens and BOOM! Chrissy is seated in my ride. [i](moral of the story- lock you doors in bad neighborhoods!)[/i]
We chatted a bit about old times and some of the girls that were on the Street but are gone, locked up etc. Kimmy (former Mayoress of MDA) went on methadone and is on 4th by McD's. Melissa got kicked out and is sleeping in abandos in the 4th St area. She would be an opportunity for a monger who could put her up! Caitlin is locked up doing 7 or 8 years for dealing. Only about 6 girls are regular on the Ave: Ashley & Dawn to name a couple.
Chrissy offered to take me back to her place for a poetry reading, but I politely declined because my favorite book was at home. Street rates apply here. Figure the price of a bundle will secure a really steamy verse of Emily Dickinson! So I was a good Joe and tossed her $5 and sent her off into the cold.
By the time "old home week" was over, the dude was still at the curb, but the lovely was no where to be seen! Sigh. I wandered off dejected.

Hear, Hear! I am declaring it here and now! [B]CHRISSY IS THE NEW MAYORESS of MDA![/B] {[I]it is amazing what $5 and a warm car will bring ya info-wise[/I]} (that and multiple sources, well maybe a few $5's).
So here is the low down as I pieced it together.
1) There are about 5-6 active, regular girls on MDA. Many of the names are new to me and not of the old gang.
2) Brandy is preggers and supposedly lower volume or out of action.
3) Kimmy the former Mayoress, moved closer in town, is at the Meth clinic, but hitting crack pretty hard.
4) Melissa got kicked out of her place and is homeless now in the 4th St area, apparently has deteriorated greatly.
5) BP girl Erickah can occasionally be found.
6) Stephanie is clean up and moved on.
6) Ashley (freq seen w / hubby in past) has reemerged on a limited basis.
8) LE has become more proactive and responsive to residents complaints: loitering, parking for dates, scooping on side streets.
9) WG has taken to calling LE when they see girls loitering at the bus stop.
10) Decoys have been out several times. SWs say they look obvious (at least to them) Maybe TGTBT?
11) Apparently LE has taken to new hiding spots, just off MDA, but with a view.
So that's it really. Not much to report and nothing of any real significance!
[I]So hit MDA hard and remember the do's of MDA:
- stop in the middle of the street & honk at a girl if you wanna catch her eye & pick her up!
- don't let her into yer car, till you've talked about everything!
- pull around the corner with her and do a date close-by.
- throw your trash out the window and any used supplies too, the neighbors will clean it up.
- make sure you bring some controlled substances with ya as those are better than cash on the street!
- anybody who does any of the above, deserves what they get! I'm just sayin'[/I]

Okay I'm new to the area. I recently was in wilmington and drove up mda on my way to the barbershop. I'm in the claymont north wilmington area. I saw one girl on the lower part by the bodega across the street from the puerto rican sandwich shop. This was around 2 pm. I have not checked late night early morn yet. I usually hit philly of camden at those hours. She was decent but her boyfriend / handler or what ever you want to call it was behind her. It kinda looked like they where arguing and she was trying to get away from him. I didn't partake but that's all I have to report. Doesn't seem like much going on in wilmington from what I've seen camden and philly are the best spots for sport.

This is DE, it is a different game than Philly or Camden. Those two areas are some of the most economic impoverished areas in the country. MDA isn't.
PLUS, the LE presence in that area is high as the neighbors complain about the drug activity etc. and LE has started being responsive. In fact, if you read one of my prior posts (just 5 down, #407) I mentioned that WG has taken to calling LE if a bus comes & goes and the same girl is still waiting there. So girls are now more on the move and more active. Also there are decoys out from time to time, so be aware of that. Annual "clean up the streets" hits somewhere around April- May time frame. So learn the subtleties of mongering in DE and don't apply Philly standard to the strolls here.
But shoot, [b]if you know who and what you are looking for there is plenty of action out there[/b]. For example, last evening I was up and down MDA and saw Chrissy, Melony, Brandy, Stacy and a three other girls I've never met- all out on the stroll. That's at least 7 in total! Only Melony was hanging around in an obvious way, the rest weren't. You want to find the Mayoress of MDA, Chrissy, you won't find her hanging around anywhere. She keeps moving to avoid a loitering charge and looks like a civy. But finding her takes experience and an trained eye.
So take some time to learn. MDA isn't the only stroll in the area, either.

This report is from a few weeks ago. I was heading toward mda on broom and saw a nice looking blonde walking along. Couldn't get the look and I tried pretty hard to let her know I was interested. I finally caught up with her again on mda and made the scoop. Nice looking girl, pretty friendly. Headed off to a motel with her. Said her name was Stacy.
Got to the place and disrobed. She had a seriously great body. Here's the thing though. Not the least bit GFE at all. Not that she gives you the dead fish routine, more that she just gets no pleasure whatsoever from the deed or anything associated with it and she doesn't even try to act like it. She'll tell you she's not wired that way. She might be your cup of tea if you like nice eye candy and not much else but unfortunately she's not for me.

There is a girl on MDA, named Jen. She is a 30-something spinner girl with a great bubbly personality and is a fun date. Her body is nice, except for a bit of Mommy belly, but it is not bad at all! Stephanie had a much worse mommy belly. She seems to have her own phone and drugs do not appear to be an issue.
Second, the girl with black hair that posts on BP as being 34 is, as you confirmed, Dawn. She goes by Diamond on BP. (see my question in the BP section) She ain't no 34 yo, however. She was in the News Journal in 2013 and was listed as 40 then. Maybe she just transposed the digits of her age? LOL She does have a 25 yo's body, but- Dawn can be a good date, when she wants. I dated her before and it was always a crap shoot which girl would show up. She is severely bi-polar at the worst. So some days there was effort put in, other days not so much. On one really bad day for her she was arguing and nasty, creating a scene. So hey, this is a case of YMMV for sure. I was finally able to snag Melanie on MDA last night around 1 am on an otherwise dead quiet night. She's the one short haired blonde who does BP sometimes (Asian character tattoos) and she was great as always but very quick. I wouldn't say rushed but 100 mph instead of taking a nice slow relaxed time. She tried to get 40 for a normal poetry reading so I had to laugh that off and exchanged a Jackson for a few poems to be read.
Melanie said they did a sweep recently which leads to my next point:
Over the past 2 weeks I've been out for about 60-90 minutes at a time on 3 different days of each week and at different times and have seen very slim pickings (don't do BSW but not even they are out). Times being afternoon between 1-3 and evenings 6-8 literally nothing at all on MDA or GPB or in between. I usually get in at least 3 loops on the stroll including down 13 on the exit route. I've either been very unlucky or they really did (temporarily) clean it up a bit.

Used to see quite a few there and at the Wawa on 13 by 295. From recent posts, sounds like MDA may be the best place now.

I have never really been all that comfortable with Rte 9 as a playground, so don't cruise there and have little knowledge. That said, BP/CL girls often turn up in the hotels at Rte 9 and Memorial, I have dated several that lived in Holloway Terrace (area behind McD's) and have picked up a girl from the bowling alley. So the area certainly is "ripe" for action I guess.
MDA seems to have a selection of 15-20 girls who wander from time to time. I don't always see a girl out on every pass, but they are around. Times may vary.
Also there are several other strolls in the Wilm area as shown on the map just a few posts back (#417). See post 416 on where to find stroll maps.
Now all of that said: If memory serves, the May-June time frame is about the time that we get the annual "sweep the streets" efforts by LE. Have not seen that this years effort has occurred yet. So stay vigilant, follow the rules, watch out for TGTBT and stay safe!

Probably about 5'4"-6", average build, brunette, 30 or so. Hard to tell age with SW sometimes. When I told her I couldn't do anything she hit me up for some motel money (homeless blah blah blah). Couldn't make a scoop. Also saw a thin nice looking blonde sitting on the sidewalk in back of the store. She seemed upset about something. I have her a steady look as I went into the store hoping to get her attention but no dice. And there was another girl walking down philly pike. Again couldn't get the look. Can't say any or all were working but I'll bet two were solid potentials. Maybe claymont is worth keeping an eye on.
Also hot latina Ashley, thin good looking brunette had been spotted once around 4th and Lincoln and once on the upper part of Lancaster Ave so she sends to be available. I have a couple of regulars so again didn't partake but if she's your kind of girl she's out there.
