They may figure if they pay a few people a visit, word gets around, and they put a dent in the business. I also always use cash to avoid any type of paper trail. Heck, we had a local religious leader get busted because he paid a provider with a check!

Your worries are unfounded. The paper trail is cold, and besides a misdemeanor must be witnessed by LE, and there is little else for them to go on. The yellow press has balled this story up so badly, I doubt we will hear much more about it. Slaves indeed!!!!

I have several reports, but in light of last weeks events I don't want to get anyone in trouble or have a business shut down. Visited a spa yesterday and have been to four including the late Island Spa within the last week. Interested members with posted reports under his belt can pm and I will share information. I apologize ahead of time to the newbies For the time being I don't want this information out there for Uncle Leo to justify there jobs to the general public by saying they are stopping human trafficking or the sex slave trade.
I have a couple trip reports from the past couple days during my short visit to Charlotte. But, like Sgt. Steel, I'm pretty reluctant to go into much detail right now due to the present environment.
It's best not to mention the places I visited by name, but both are places that I think have been mentioned frequently on this board. I don't have any previous experiences in Charlotte with which to compare, but my feeling was that I was greeting with more caution than is usual, even for someone's first visit. The fact that I'm an out-of-towner could have been a factor in that too.
Nonetheless, I enjoyed both visits and I'm looking forward to checking out some other places the next time I come to town. If anyone has any questions (unlikely), feel free to pm me. Ditto if anyone has any questions about places in San Francisco.

Based on a search of arrest records on the Char-Meck site, Woodlawn Spa was busted yesterday. Based on the photos of the gals that were busted, I have to ask....are guys really paying these women for extras??? That's just nasty. If a regular massage is $80.00 but you paid $200.00 or more, you (the customer) will have a hard time explaining why you paid so much. It's more likely than not that you will be convicted if the case went to trial based on that amount. Using your credit card to pay for sex is generally not a good idea because of the trail it can leave behind, use cash and avoid any questions later.

You could always say you left a tip!! I personally always use cash, but just because there was a charge on a card , proves nothing.They could have given you cash back, you could be paying for more than 1 session at that time. Now if they can get the girls to say why you paid so much, you better get a real good laywer!!

I'm coming from Chicago, and I'm curious if the scene here is just AMPs, or if there are private apartments where asian girls offer massages. Yes, you could say you left a tip, but what are the chances that a Judge or Jury will believe that you tipped an establishment twice over the regular rate? I'd say it’s highly unlikely that they will believe you.

The COPS could certainly use this against the MP with their merchant services. If a MP is busted, they will give you up in a minute to save themselves, they will not lie for you. In the end, it’s about choices and paying with cash will certainly put you in a better position of not having to explain your CC charges in a MP to the law or maybe your wife for those of you who have those.

Not that I am an expert, but from what I read on the board looks to me that the new chief is espousing the Guiliani/NYC methods of hitting small stuff hard, like amps and ladies of the street, in order to give the appearance of a new broom in town, and to increase intimidation of our providers. Hit up Hot Ston and Rainbow last couple of weeks. HS was the usual good visit but Rainbow has a cute,tall gal over there 'Monica' I think that actually gives an excellent massage. Both places still very clean and friendly.
