I had the prividlege of a day off so. Off to the Park Chemealon. 4 cars out front. I wasn't parking across the street. Miss Kittys had 8 or 9 girls can't keep track of backroom traffic Boy! All types there lots of heavy girls if you like that go visit but for a $4. 00 beer can't beat it.

Let's hope they have a private dance area! It would be much better if they set up a larger area maybe with the booths like at PT's Brooklyn. Maybe the 20th would be a good night to hit the Chameleon because I'm sure whatever girls are left over there will be at least a little more desperate for the money!
Well, C-Mowes did open on the 20th. I drove by at about 8pm and there was a big banner up saying "Now Open" and the flashing neon star was turned on, so I pulled in to the lot. They weren't open yet, so I left my car in their lot and walked over to Chameleon. The owner was in front of the building with a big bar-b-que grill cooking something and looking desperate. He said hello, but didn't say anything about what he was cooking. I'm not sure what was up.
Inside Chameleon was a sad sight. They had the AC off for some reason, and the place was dead. There were 4-5 guys and I only saw three girls working. Xtacy sat down next to me and tried to pressure me into a dance, but I managed to hold her at bay until about 8:45 when I bailed and headed back over to C-Mowes. We'll have to see how Chameleon holds up. C-Mowes was open for business, and there were already about 20 guys in there, plus a girl on stage dancing. Let me describe the layout.
It is a long rectangular building and the inside is one big room, very much like Miss Kittys. There's a door facing the parking lot, but the actual entrance is in the middle of the long side facing the street -- there's no sign. Inside is all done in black and white, and it was easy to see but not bright. The lights were all blue (not UV/blacklights). There is a long bar along the wall across from the door, reaching almost end to end. There's a circular stage at each end of the building. In the middle is a pool table and a number of tables for seating. The men's room is very small, with just one urinal and one stall -- considering that at one point there were at least 50 guys inside, the bathroom could be a problem.
The private area is not good. It is a small room divided into two decently sized areas. On each side is an L-shaped wooden bench that sits in the corner. The private area looks out onto the main room, and there is no door, curtain, or drape to block the view. Guys standing at the end of the bar can see right in. The seats are very uncomfortable. The rooms would be fine for a little hand action, but very uncomfortable for any serious fun -- and it is impossible to be discreet. Cost for the room is $10 to the house, but the girls weren't sure if that was for two songs or what the deal was. Also they didn't have any set prices for action back there. It was the first night and no one seemed to know the rules (this included what was allowed on stage, how many dances to do, etc...). Eventually, Cindy went around and told the girls that they were to dance two songs on one stage, then move to the other stage and do two songs. No one collected for the jukebox, so i hope that the management takes care of that. Girls played their own songs.
When I walked in, Whip (from Chameleon) was on stage. She was happy to see me, and I went over to the stage. The stages are very high, and would be uncomfortable for the girls to get up and down for lap dances. That doesn't matter, though, because they aren't allowed to give lap dances! After Whip got done, she told me she was going by Kimberly now, since Whip was her Chameleon name. Fine by me. Had a great time talking to her (as usual), and even got a private from her. Turns out I was the first one to use the room -- it was funny to watch them scramble to figure out who takes the money and what to do with it.
The private was pretty lame, but was kind of funny as we experimented with how we should sit so that we couldn't be seen by the 5-6 people standing right outside. In the end it was an unsuccessful trip, although I know that the booth on the other side was successful for another couple who entered after we did. It certainly wasn't like Chameleon where you get 30 minutes on a couch for $100. Kimberly said that she was lowering her prices back to her C-Mowes rate, but I'm not sure what that was.
The place was jumping, mostly with friends of the owners, or friends of the dancers. There were LOTS of girls there who weren't working, so it was hard to judge the ratio of guys to dancers. Things will shake down eventually I'm sure. There were at least 50 guys there at the high point of about 11:00, and maybe 15 dancers. Passion, Sinful, and Bobbie from Chameleon were there, as were a bunch of girls I recognized from others clubs and many I didn't. They also had some SMOKING hot waitresses and bartenders. One stunning girl (who I'm told was the owner's son's girlfriend) was a perfect 10 in my book.
It definitely had more of a bar feel than a strip club or a jack shack. Drinks were cheap (beer $4, well shots $5, name brand and exotic drinks were $6-8 -- don't quote me on prices as even the bartenders didn't always know). It was a lot classier than the old place. I just hope that they get things settled where a girl can make some money. I don't think I saw anyone do a private after we got done in there, although to be fair we were sitting at the other end of the bar and it wasn't a typical crowd. The girls can't make a lot of tips for dancing either, since they can't give laps at the stage. We'll have to see how it shapes up, but it is currently nothing like the old C-Mowes.
I'm not sure it was worth the trip from Kansas City just for this, although it is cool that I was the one to inaugurate the new private area. Maybe they'll put up a plaque ("KC Questor Memorial Play area").
Went back to C-Mowes on Saturday afternoon about 3pm. It was empty -- three customers and four girls. I sat with one girl who was very popular when she worked at Chameleon. She was there on Friday night too, and we talked for a long time about what she thought. In the end she pretty much had decided to go back to Chameleon (which is why I'm not saying her name). I chatted up the other girls there and they all were thinking that they might bail on C-Mowes and come back when things settle down. Most strippers don't really have a big savings account to fall back on until they start making money again. But until guys start to realize that the place is open for business, it will continue to be empty. And if the girls can't give good privates or good stage dances, they won't come back.
There was no one at the door taking a cover charge, so I'm not sure if there is one during the day. On Friday night they said "No cover charge tonight" when I came in, but later when I went out to my car to make a phone call they tried to charge me $2 -- but didn't when they recognized me. people were also coming in the side door that open onto the parking lot. They will need to put up a sign or something. I suppose they can't lock it because of fire codes, but they don't want people coming in and out that door -- and neither do we. Anyone at that door can see right into the private area.
And speaking of the private area, I didn't mention in my previous post that [b]there is a camera in the private area[/b]. Or at least there is one of those camera mount domes. I don't know if it is recording, or if it is on, or even if there is really a camera in the housing. But I don't like it.
[i]edit:[/i] I also stopped in to Chameleon. It was doing just fine in there (5-6 guys, 7 girls). Crystal has moved to day shift; there was also Desiree, Heather, Xtacy, Candy Stixx, and I am blanking on the other girls.
Well needless to say I am no fan of the new club.
I waited for months for this letdown.
The owners have to know what brings us in time and time again, but for some reason they build a small back room that is open for view like that. I just dont get it. I know its easy to say, but if it was me I would have build a large private back room that can be set up for what we need.
Lets face facts, if the backroom is not in service like it was before it burnt, you can count the days before the "For Sale" sign goes up. Also, if you look around they have cameras everywhere. KC is right there is one in the back room as well. This is also crazy in my book, unless you are going to try to "go straight." If that is your plan I will see you at the auction (wont be long).
Let me also say, if the Chameleon Club did not have a somewhat ample back room for us they would have had to give up dances and sell BBQ long ago. Who would really go to that dive if there was no back room service?
Now I am glad that I didn't make a trip over just for the opening. It does sound like someone was dreaming or perhaps remembering the "old days" of a more legit club. Just the way KC describes the layout its obvious the person doesn't understand the importance of having a good private dance area. That's just the way it is now days in all the clubs. Heck even if they wanted to go straight they still need to have a comfortable area for lap dances!
I've always liked the layout of PT's Brooklyn for private dances. You go upstairs, its usually quieter, they've got nice comfortable booths that give you some privacy. Once in the booth, especially if they've got the lights turned down, its pretty dark until the dancer lights up a small candle. Its a very intimate atmosphere; although I've never had anything happen but some very hot lap dances. The people who put that place together understood the importance of setting "the stage" so to speak for the privates. Wooden benches! Cameras! Open to the main floor! That's just crazy and probably from somebody who doesn't understand the modern day club dynamics.
When I read KC's first post about the club my thought was "guess the Chameleon Club owner doesn't have to worry quite so much!" The girls won't stay at C-Mowes if they can't make the same money they were making at the Chameleon. If the chameleon owner would just actually fix the place up a bit in back and figure out some decent screening around the couches it would be much better. And of course..buy some new fucking couches! Or at least pick up a couple decent used ones at a sale or something. Heck for the cost of one private in the back I could have got him 2 nice couches at an auction just this weekend!
Here's a tip for you mongers out there. Don't get a flat tire in East St. Louis at 2am with a hooker in your car. That is unless she is willing to help you change the tire.

I would never want to be in East St. Louis at 2AM unless it was driving at the posted speed limit on I-55 /70 or I-64.
If somebody ever gets a flat tire in East St. Louis at 2 AM, perhaps while driving home from the Brooklyn strip clubs, you might want to try rolling slowly to the East St. Lou police department located at the south end of 3rd Street on Broadway/River Park Drive. It might be safe to change your wheel there--I dunno.
The police department is roughly 1 or 1.5 miles from the Wash Rack and from the 9th and Exchange strolls.
If your flat happens near the Washington Park strip clubs like Dollie's and Hollywood, the WP police station is on Forest Blvd., 2 blocks east of Kingshighway/Route 111. I guess the cops are open 24 hours there?
If you're driving back from PT's Centreville, Crystal Palace, Highway 157 Spa, or VIP Massage, the Centreville police station is on Bond Avenue 400 feet north of Touchette Regional Hospital.
I guess if you're not too far away from a strip club, you could try rolling there, and asking security to keep an eye on you so nobody clubs ya with your tire iron ; - )

I worked for may years in Il. stae govt, and had numerous professional dealings in these various communities. The shit that goes down is unbelieveable and the ONLY cops to trust are the Illinois State Police.

Everything worked out fine, but it was a surreal experience.

I have had two flat tires in the area. The first was in the winter time when I was alone in broad daylight. I drove slowly to the nearest gas station to change the tire. I just didn't feel safe changing it where it blew. The second time, I was with a popular WSW I picked up on Exchange Ave. This time I pulled into a spot along side some railroad tracks. I was a little nervous but at least the girl with me was fun to talk with while I changed the tire.
Just imagine how you would feel if the engine quit or the transmission goes out on you!

I don't engage in the street scene anymore, but if I did, particularly in East St. Louis, Brooklyn, W.P., etc., I would surely invest in "run-flat" tires.
Yeah E. St. Louis area is a really bad place to get a flat or have any sort of car problems. I always try to check my car before heading into the area. A flat can happen just about anywhere but East St. Louis may be more problem causing because of the bad street conditions, pot-holes, broken bottles, and trash on the streets.
Been lucky so far myself (knock on wood) but a dancer I know fairly well had a blow out on Rt3 a year or so ago. She had been having a very good night till then! She dialed 911 on her cell and explained that she was broken down on Rt3 all by herself and was very scared. Surprisingly there was soon an ISP officer on scene, not surprisingly he kinda gave her a hassle. Guess it was pretty obvious to the officer that she was a dancer. He asked if she had been drinking, had any illegal substances in her car, etc..etc. Even asked for consent to search her car and if she refused they'd have to wait for a search dog. She doesn't do drugs and she hadn't been drinking so she refused and told the officer that she'd just go ahead and change her tire while they waited. He didn't call for a dog but he did stand guard while she changed the tire, what a gentleman but at least he was there.
I had my engine cut out on me by Soft Touch. It was a problem with a computer circuit on the motor. I am not a mechanic, but by the grace of God, I fixed it. I am not sure how, but I got it working. At that point, I probable would have figured out brain surgery to get out of there:).

Dropped into Chameleon the last couple of nights. The pickings are getting slim and the prices are going up it seems. Million? Quoted 35 to the house and 135 for her and didn't come down, so I passed. Other than that not much going on there. I am told that several of the girls got fired for various things like being late? Late? I was chuckling at the thought of that time clock, but it wasn't the biggest laugh of the night. I was talking to a dancer at Roxy's who told me that she made three hundred thousand a year as a real estate mogul and just did this for fun. On top of that, she's a paleontologist and university professors come to the club with dinosaur bones for her to identify for them. I am not making this up. Whatever drug that is must really be something.
Wound up at Dollies, got a handshake for 50. The name escapes me. Seems like the quality has gone up a tiny bit there. There is one cute blonde, not ginger I think, but basically ignores all but a cuple of guys. I actually sat at the stage three songs during her dance and she spent the whole time with the one other guy. She can keep that business.
I am thinking on making a trip to the Chameleon this Saturday. Does anyone know what ladies work the day and night shift on Saturday? I would get there about shift change. Would it be worth the drive?

Several years back in Brooklyn at a club that has since burned down. I had a dancer tell me a similar story about professors who come by the club for her to examine artifacts. I think it was Asian hand carved art from some centry long long ago. But since that did not pay very well she was in some type of loan officer, banker type job making hundreds of thousand of dollars.Again she just danced for something to do in the evenings, plus it was a great way to stay in shape. I dont remember her stage name. But she was about 5"9', weight 120, C cups, taned, atheletic body, no tats, dark hair, she was maybe 25 at the time. She looked clean, no visible signs of drug use, not drunk, not a skank. IF you were to put her in a business suite she cold pass for what she just told me. She also told me that she did considerable amount of travling for her job doing londs and finance work for her bank. Ok it gets better, she said she was being considered Vice President of some dept for the bank she worked at. If she got the job she would then transfer to New your City and have a nice corner high rise office. With her own office support staff of secretarys, assistants

I've stayed in Collinsville before and hit the clubs. That way I could take the Collinsville Rd over to Kingshighway (rt.111) and down to WP or take it into E.St. Louis to hit the stroll and go up Rt.3 to Brooklyn. There are several decent hotels in Collinsville but the Best Western had a couple armed robberies so I'd avoid it.
I've also stayed in Fairview Heights before, its just a quick drive on the I-64 to WP.
The other towns may have decent places to stay too but those are the two places I'm familiar with.
If you're REALLY adventurous I suppose you could get a room for a full night in one of the hourly motels in Fairmont. There is also a motel in WP just east of Kingshighway on Bunkum Rd, don't know anything about it.
I like Fairview Heights. Lots of stores and restaurants in the area for the times when you aren't at the clubs -- including a decent mall.
Caseyville also has a few "business express" style hotels, like Comfort Inn and Holiday Inn Express type (I don't remember the exact chains, but they are clean and cheap). I've known lots of dancers who stay at the Motel 6 there. It is a couple of miles closer to WP on I-64. I've even taken street girls from ESL to Caseyville -- it isn't too far at all.

There's a cover. The place is in two sections. To the right as you enter there are a couple of theaters showing adult films. Cover just for the theaters is $10. To the left is the actual lounge. I believe the cover is $30ish for singles, not sure for couples. The following information is from a Yahoo group run by patrons (Colony_4_Fun_Encounters):

It is a swinger's place. That is a lifestyle that is not very accepting of single guys, so don't go there expecting to hook up with some girl unless you are bringing a girl with you. Basic rules of conduct and courtesy apply. Don't touch without being invited, and don't expect anything. It isn't an orgy. If you are interested in going, you might want to join the Yahoo group and find out when the event nights are. It sucks to go there and pay the cover and find out you are the only people there.
Went to Miss Kittys for a little while tonight. Had a couple dances, no extras offered. Maybe cause they don't know me? Maybe cause I didn't ask?
I don't know what the current situation is and I don't want to ask the wrong woman for a HJ and have her cause a ruckus. Don't need the drama.

There must be more to it and I must just be way out of practice otherwise why would anyone spend 30 bucks for private there and get hustled for a tip? Hollywood has hotter chicks (my opinion only, I'm not trying to shit on anyone else's preferences here) for $25 and, in my experience, less hustle.

I know that I can get anything at Dollies and Chameleon but the threat of getting car jacked is a little too much risk for my portfolio these days.

It is always a crap shoot depending on the girl. If you are simply looking for hot private dances then I agree that Hollywood may be a better shot. But Miss Kitty's has much better stage dances -- you won't get a full song in your lap with mutual touching for $2-3 at Hollywood!
Treat the stage dances as a chance to find out which girls will go further in the back room. Day shift is WAY better for extras. You go there a few times and you learn quickly which girls do and which don't.

I'm looking to hit up WP and try for some extras for the first time. This is going to be a stupid question but what's the best thing to wear considering that it's 1000 degrees out and there's not much privacy at MK's or Dollies? I'm meaning shorts or jeans. What makes it easiest on the ladies?
I never wear jeans to a strip club -- especially one where I am planning on getting extras. It is not comfortable to have a girl rubbing on that rough denim, and many girls have told me that they don't like rubbing on jeans. I've dated enough strippers to know that after a long shift their thighs can be rubbed raw. Jeans have all that thick material in the crotch, and the girl can grab that bunch of denim in front and rub it thinking it is your johnson. If the girl decides to go into your pants then jeans are a pain, and unless they are button-fly, the zipper is dangerous.
Shorts are OK at some clubs, but not allowed at others. I wear shorts to Chameleon -- partly so the girl can run her hand up the leg, and partly because they are easier to take off in the back room (or the car, since I wear them for car dates as well). My mongering shorts are "cargo" type with a bunch of extra pockets, which is handy but not fun for a lap dance. I've worn them to Dollie's, but wouldn't to MK or Hollywood. That's just personal. I'm not really a shorts guy and generally don't think shorts are appropriate for public wear. You'll find lots of guys wearing shorts, though. Just make sure they are soft and comfortable.
At a regular strip club where I am looking for lap dances, I wear khakis or chinos. They are soft enough to be pleasant to rub on, and casual enough to not look like I am trying to dress up, and the zipper is not this torture device with teeth like a tyrannosaur.
If you REALLY don't mind looking like a perv, you could wear sweat pants. It makes a statement: "I am gonna get a hard on and I want you to rub it." That's fine for Chameleon or for picking up girls on Collinsville Road (in the winter), but not for a nicer place.
Nice soft khakis are perfect, they are cool, they aren't rough and easier access. Especially if you go to MK's, Hustler or Hollywood. Wearing a nice pair of pants, and a decent shirt (one meant to not be tucked in) actually can make a very favorable impression. Getting extras from strippers has two parts dollars and attraction. If you go in looking like a slob (not implying anything) its a lot harder. Make yourself stand out a little.
Yeah if you're going for the pervo look wear sweat pants or jogging pants; or better yet wear basketball shorts! That style of dress does make a statement like KC says. I'm not sure if the nicer places would let you in or not. It might be worth a try though. I've worn nice khaki shorts a couple of times but I agree with KC that it just doesn't feel appropriate to wear shorts when I go out. When I start wearing the basketball shorts to the Hollywood I'll know that I've probably reached true pervedom.
I think khakis, chinos, or similar pants are the best to wear. Dockers did have a nice pair of pants that were soft, fairly thin, and even water & stain resistant. Haven't seen that particular style in the stores lately though. I like the khakis, etc. because they are loose fitting, softer & thinner than jeans, and they are more comfortable for myself and the dancers.
Don't rule out dressing up a little bit. If you want a really interesting time wear a suit and tie. Suit pants look sharp and they're pretty damn thin too! But then there's the inevitable dry cleaning bill.....
So from what has been said, Emerg. room or O.R. scrubs are not a good idea for strip club pants?
