Just needed to rant after browsing TNA. I realize people have different tastes and preferences but overall I think more men prefer ladies that are in shape rather than "bbw". To be clear, I like curves but I think many would agree that "curvy" body descriptions mostly mean overweight. Also, compared to other cities, I feel Portland providers tend to be heavier.

I seldom look there anymore, yes partially due to Covid-19 but also due to unattractive offerings.
It's not just the weight and prices that are going up. It's the bullshit.
I was just in Portland for a one night stop. I had an appointment set for 8. Called to confirm at 730 as I had agreed to do. Some guy answered, acting confused and told me she wasn't there, he'd have her call me back when he saw her. She eventually texted at around 9 asking if I still wanted to see her. This kinda event is becoming the norm.
I started texting others at around 8 pm, text a *****, wait a while to see if she answers, text another *****. Maybe I just have bad luck but every time I have to text at least 3-4 of them to get any kind of response. This time, I gave up at around midnight somewhere around fat ***** number 7. Most of them never bothered to answer at all. One texted back at 4:15 asking if I was still up.
They are asking a minimum of 10 times Oregon's average hourly wage for an hour. Most are higher than that. Even with that shit, IF you can get one to show up, it's only after 50 texts and a minimum of an hour or two after you were supposed to meet. Your time means nothing to them. They are usually fat, 30+lbs heavier than their pictures, most seem to be meth heads. They don't even bother to dress up or look good. They show up in yesterdays dirty laundry with Tyrone's dick on their breath looking well fucked by the last guy. They insist on the cash up front so they can half ass the bare minimum to get through the appointment. Then it's "I don't want to do this, I don't do that. " even what she agreed to, or things on her "menu".
Tolerating bad behavior breeds bad behavior. I want to know, who the stupid assholes are paying $400+ for that shit.
The sad part is everyone has a point in this thread about TNA Board.
I've been struggling recently with whether the hobby is worth it, pun intended. When I began exploring this hobby about 5-6 years ago, things were much different. Things were even different two years ago.
Of late, it seems most providers have granted each other 'GPS' passes, both with their donation requests and attitudes. A narrative providers on TNA like to trumpet is that this hobby is a "premium" service.
I'd argue it's no longer an actual service at all, much less premium. Even a basic modicum of courtesy is missing. If you had an agreement to buy a car, then showed up to a dealership to sign the papers and drive off in your new car, you would expect to walk in, be greeted, have a pleasant chat, sign your paperwork, and accept the keys to your new car. That's a premium service.
Many providers in Portland in 2020 don't provide anything premium at all. It would be like walking into the dealership, being told to sit in the waiting room, being patient for a few hours, asking what was taking so long, then the salesperson telling you to come back another day because they forgot to actually prep your car for sale. Most of us would say "screw that" and find another dealer – except the dealership which spurned you may call other dealers and tell them you're a bad customer, so they shouldn't do business with you either.
Not only that, providers are blaming hobbyists at-large for the sins – or perceived sins – of a few. I'm really tired of reading the "he got my address and ghosted" alerts as if someone were going to break into their apartment and assault them. I still have not seen a provider say 'I was assaulted last night by someone breaking into my place. ' When that happens, the "address collectors" can be considered bad actors. Until then, it's not alert-worthy, but that 'alert' clutters the section.
I wrote a post last year ([URL]https://www.tnaboard.com/showthread.php?1713054-The-Data-How-Providers-amp-Clients-use-TNA-Alerts&highlight=[/URL]) after getting curious and digging through some data around the alerts as it seemed the start of 2019 brought a widespread effort by providers to "reclaim" the alerts section. At least half of the alerts are about NCNS, from providers and hobbyists. Nobody is innocent. Providers ghost, too.
But, providers now believe they are "premium" while the level of "service" has diminished as the prices skyrocket. Objectively, I now understand "premium" to mean lazy, and perhaps greedy, in many cases. Late last year, I took a chance and saw a provider whose donation was more than I thought was fair, but they had good reviews. It was lackluster, and 3 X the cost of a similar lackluster experience I'd had in late 2018.
I politely challenged one provider via text about her donations, which she didn't post on her ad but shared via text. Her reply was "if I only have to see one of you slobs for the same money of course I will" - implying for the same $x she'd formerly earn seeing a few clients, she could now get from one booking. This shows a deep disdain for her chosen profession, the people actually paying her, and again – seems sort of lazy.
There are a few providers I know to be decent, and I'd gladly see them again, but the overall takeaway of TNA Board is it's not worth the effort, especially when providers offer such low-effort interactions. A recent ownership change for the board has also caused a shift from an equitable forum to the site owners protecting those who pay them – providers – at every turn. This encourages white-knighting and dishonest positive reviews for those who want to retain access to providers. It's like giving the dealership a five-star review for telling you to come back another day.
