Was on my way to meet someone and noticed a bunch of police cars with their lights on slowly going down the side roads on Fenton, north of Atherton a little before 2 am. Might have been looking for someone but wanted to report just in case.

FYI, this is the type of logic some girls are thinking. They think they're giving you a deal of twenty off if you send thirty now LOL.

I was just running out to get something to eat and on my way back down saginaw st, a flint cops was sitting at saginaw and hemphill. As I passed the light unfortunately went red. He whipped out and ran my plate and pulled me over a few seconds later. He said it was for no insurance and no registration, which is true but he didn't give me a ticket or tow my car or anything. Told me he didn't want to write a ticket. So what was the point of him pulling me over? I have an idea. I just want to see if I'm right. Papa Be.

He may not be so lenient next time.

Nothing like that. I was just minding my business and he whipped out behind me as soon as the light turned red. I knew it was fucked then. I just picked up a pizza and was going to get gas. I should of stopped at the gas station before hemphill then I wouldn't of had any issues. I have a good idea why he let me go. I did tell him that I was going to still drive my car and that it was going to take time to get everything in order. My guess is he was trying to find warrants dui guns etc. Papa Be.
So, why no ticket or tow? Papa Be.
Maybe he was just being lazy. My point was he may recognize your vehicle in the future and may not be lenient next time.

I'm getting rid of the car in a month or 2,so I'm not too worried about it. My point is that I've never seen sheriff's just sitting and looking for traffic violations. It's usually Burton and GB that does that. Maybe I've just been lucky. Papa Be.
So, why no ticket or tow? Papa Be.
Yeah either looking for something bigger, also some departments have requirements for a certain number of traffic contacts per shift. Not a ticket quota, they just want to see activity on the daily logs.
Was leaving an inn and a little after I turned onto Lippincott, I noticed police lights behind me. I pulled over, and the officer informed me that I was being stopped because my license plate light wasn't functioning. I had nothing to hide, so I answered all of the questions and cooperated during the stop. The officer was pretty chill, but he started getting all buddy-buddy toward the end, really probing to see if I had any drugs or anything illegal on me. Just found out there was a recent raid at that location, so if you plan on visiting, make sure you've got all your ducks in a row. After the stop, I noticed there were actually two police vehicles behind me, and they both turned around and headed back toward Dort. When I got home, both license plate lights were on.

I thought this might be the end.
I rolled down my window and the cop immediately told me that he pulled me over because of expired plates. I politely said, "Check again. ".
He did. I was current with my plates. He apologized and let us all go.
I imagine a diswtrict court judge will believe a lying cop all day long, every day unless: the cop has a reputation and you have a locked and loaded mouthpiece.
