This is all politically motivated, but that's beside the point. If you own a web site that gets used by providers / johns then you will either shut it down NOW or face jail.
The only exception MIGHT be those sites based outside the country such as USA Adult Classifieds. And my guess is our "freedom loving" gov't is going to censor such sites, since they can't get at the owners. Admin may chime in on this, and perhaps USA has plans to use frequent new sites to attempt to stay ahead of the censors.
It's a dark day for free, consenting adults and for our country, imo.

Considering how quickly BP was shut down, if this site should get hit by our freedom hating government, let me just take a moment to say how much I appreciate all of you who have given invaluable information over the years. Sure, we've had small squabbles, but at the end of the day we've all helped each other out, so hats off to all of us who have contributed. Maybe this site will be around for many years yet, but if not, many thanks.
With the many dating sites out there I would assume someone or some how one will be made they can't do anything about. Especially if the communication part of it is strictly done through the phone or in person I can't see how they can shut down BP only because it was just photos and a number it's not like any of them were exposing anything no different then going on POF and seeing a chick in her bikini at the pool.
If a site like Backpage, with international reach and a big budget for legal defense, can go down. You have to expect it is just a matter of time before many more (all?) fall.
Hate to see it like this, but this looks like just the start.
In the mean time our beloved president can fuck porn stars and then pay hundreds of thousands of dollars for their silence. How is that any different from paying for a prostitute?

The one thing that sticks in my mind that the gov' was able to wipe out in the USA was internet poker and that was based offshore, hopefully they will be satisfied just putting a nail in BP- RIP.
