If the bars fail, others of their type (rich, no need work, but still working bar to get more money and feel its texture) will see some twisted value in it and, if it's leveraged enough to give them ulcers and tics, they'll get creative enough to get into some type of trouble. But the owner does have something to do with the personality and popularity of the place (for me, anyway); the dark figurehead, dominant frontlady, the face, if you will. They do business the K and wahine way and it's amusing to watch.

I'm guessing that is either Ann or the lady that owned Magazine Girl and Bon Soire.

Crystal Palace is actually in a good spot as they have strip club and hostess licenses. it would not make any sense to turn in any of these as the LC will not grant any more as all new bars must abide by the 500 foot rule. If things got bad, Crystal Palace could also be turned into a nightclub for the kids or an ultra lounge.

The location also matters since seeing some Mamas that had bars at different location that were slow and others that get packed but also matters on the girls on hand at the time.

I agree, the owner makes a heck of difference in a bar. Just compare patty mama at camelot to miki mama at evergreen and you will see the difference. Evergreen is dead much of the time while camelot is usually pretty busy. The girls know too, that's why bars like camelot have top notch girls but crystal palace has older and reject girls.

As for the smaller/larger bar types, again it depends on where guys want to park their butts, some guys like the bars with lots of babes to look at while others like the smaller bars where they might be able to get some action. We all agree that the babes are more ROB types but nice to see eye candy for us and not spend money, I like to sit at butterfly and watch Sue handle the customers but won't spend a dime on her. She knows that she can't hustle me so doesn't even come up to try.

BTW, the whole casino/butterfly area all the way down to Sandy's place was once designated to be tied to ala mo but with the owners (GGP) not doing well that probably won't happen for a number of years, if ever. People could have been land speculating for the future by buying it up.

The KBGs have been studying and classifying customers in their own primitive way over time. We behave in predictable patterns because we are basically conditioned to act similarly in different situations (work, home, bar, etc.).

Their livelihood depends on predicting a pattern because it's a predator vs. Victim thing; they classify, predict, and attack based on experience and survival training.

Notice how they act and speak; it's as though they already know you and say the same old shit because it works, believe it or not. Don't be like the other victims: same time, day, drink, tip, shit, etc. Got to be different to avoid being a victim; keep them guessing. Being a predator is better.

Just an observation. "talking story" is pretty much an island phrase, not necessarily the term a "new-to-the-islands" might use. Course I'm pretty much a skeptic anyways so nevermind me.

Passed through D' Amour, many customers but I didn't really see any good talent.

Went to Butterfly and it was pretty empty for that bar. The only one I recognized was Dallas; not many girls and no eye candy.

New Casino sounded livelier but that just turned out to be Sammie hollering on the karaoke. It was kinda dead. I didn't recognize any of the hostesses. Many had similar styles and stats; the easiest way to say it would be that had one with a young cute face, you'll know when you see her. Another wore a revealing/veil type of outfit, and if that's how she dresses you'll know when you see her as well. No Anna or v-Lin. Met Jenny, late 30's at least, skinny, very friendly girl with limited English. I wasn't going to buy her anything but she gave a pretty good back and shoulder rub; usually I don't fall for that but she was so pleasant and was doing a good job.

Ended at Evergreen and it was so slow the majority of the hostesses (same old ones, less the c-girls and Miho) were standing around the booths by the fish tank area. Even Miki-mama looked bummed. Bought one for Gina, mid-20's c-girl, very good English, good-looking IMO with an AMP body, thick legs like she works out. Drank too fast and wouldn't slow-down or apologize, merely claimed to be thirsty (the 100-year-old k-hostess excuse) so I let her go after that.

Anyway, had one big cat and dog fight between the KBG and the guy's wife and family. I was shocked but the locals was calm and nevah care, I guess. Later on one guy told me that it's quite common to have fights at funerals, parties, and weddings involving KBGs. Especially when them 'dumb fakas' get plenty money, even in death.

Is Cindy (use to be at T-Time) still the manager at Casino or did her and Julie already have a falling out?

Started out in the high maintaince area (Moonflower/Cache/Sandys) and moved on to Kalihi (Milf area). Went to Pisces and the place was dead. I heard some of the girls have moved due to the parking situation and no customers. Diane mama even said the place is dead in the afternoon/early evening. Only place to park is on the streets, but with all the businesses in the area bring your walking shoes. Will let you know which bars picked up business with Picses being slow.
