I have been thinking for awhile that another crackdown is about due.

I wish some of these place were in a more discrete location though, I'm also thinking a crackdown is about due but I hope not! These places are way better and safer then dealing with some of these less than desirable escorts around here, the talent sure has went to shit around here for the last several years!

Seems like quite a few to me and all fairly recent (another relative term). Counting those and the ones that have been around for awhile I am guessing 12 to 15 in the immediate QCA. That seems like more than enough to get the attention of the local karens who are usually the ones whose complaining precedes a crack down especially in election years. I hope not too but I would put money on seeing another within the next 6 months.

I specifically recall someone saying Linda who was at Rose in Moline at the time survived it because she actually had a massage license where most don't. I think Illinois tends to arrest one or two ladies during a bust whereas Iowa seems more likely to go after the owner/establishment as a whole. During the last crackdown Iowa used licensing and building codes very effectively to shut down almost all the spas in Davenport.

I know most of the places in Davenport were at least temporarily shut down and I recall there being talk of Moline stepping up enforcement. Now that I think of it I don't recall if any on the Illinois side actually got shut down or not.
Talking about the "history" of AMP crackdowns in the QC is a bit of a misnomer as the QC doesn't really have a very long history of AMPs. For quite a few years Island was the only AMP in the area plus Sugars and that other lingerie shop that was near it. The plethora of AMPSs you see now pretty much sprang up overnight about 10 years ago.

I think most of the time unless you have the shit luck of being present when they kick down the door you are pretty safe. Personally, I was in a Chicago area AMP earlier in the day before a bust. I was scared shitless that there was going to be a knock on the door but nothing came of it. More recently a backpage girl I saw fairly regularly got busted for dabbling in recreational pharmaceuticals. The story online talked about how long her residence was under surveillance. I am 100 percent sure they got me on camera visiting her at least twice. Again scared shitless but no knock on the door. In another case there was a strip club I visited in Texas that was recording the goings on in the private area. They got busted and LEO found the video files one of which featured me. The story I read years later said they recognized some prominent citezens but it didn'tmention any arrests coming from it. Lol.

I didn't know Island was the oldest. I guess that explains why their facility is better equipped than your standard old office building.
