I don't travel to SF often, but when I do, I'm now heading all the way out to The Richmond to see Grace. Her massage skills (particularly around and inside the glutes) are simply unparalleled. A *buddy* of mine has been pursuing these forums ahead of his last min seminar trip to SF this week. He stopped by Empire spa just west of union Square and was greeted by a very pushy and rude mamasan. Quoted 70 for 35 min (odd) and was pushed to choose girls, sounds like almost yelled at IMHO. Mamasan kept calling him and a few other patrons "poor" in Chinese, very derogatory attitude. He didn't like the choices, no one was really smiling, and my buddy doesn't get off on sadism so he turned around and saved a few coin. More for the Witcher it seems.
He adds that there were about 5 girls when he went in late evening, ages ranging from late 20's to late 30's. Some clearly had lots of work done. Some seemed Chinese, others were definitely south Asian, the rest were ambiguous.

I've seen this happen when people who appeared to be A) under some kind of influence or B) lollygagging around where at play but if you weren't either and you weren't trying to haggle a better price. I can't imagine what went so wrong. Because even when closing they rush you in and out in a semi polite manner.

The mamasan's attitude was enough for me to leave. The girls were decent enough, but looked miserable to be there.

I think my *buddy* would describe himself as "an attractive young professional" so I'm not sure why that was the attitude. Evolon702 had a good point too, most of the girls didn't bother to look up from their phones when my buddy inquired about the price and was looking at the girls on the couch he was asked to choose from. My pal says that Golden pearl was so much better that he went twice.

My *pal* decided to give SF another try last weekend and checked out Golden pearl. He rang the bell in the mid afternoon but was left standing outside since the mamasan apparently fell asleep ha. Eventually a stunning Colombian "masseuse" spinner about mid-20's opened the door and lead him in. My pal asked for a lineup per the advice on this board and requested asians since Empire was a bust, but none were available. The original Colombian spinner had a rockin' bod and was his favorite out of the Latina bunch, so they headed to the shower / massage room which he requested. Transaction was simple and straight forward, 60 and $$, and my pal was able to shower off and lie on the table in anticipation of getting that knot out of his back. I only had a bad experience once. Of MANY trips. Bad reports are pretty rare. I think I drew Shakira her first time in SF. She was testing the market to see if she was going to add it into her touring rotation. She was also columbian. If the girl your friend saw had a big gorgeous fake ass, then it may be the same girl. IF so, he definitely drew a marvelous provider.
