Any word if Casino will open as a hostess bar again, or if it is even in negotiations?
It had a very long run and kept the same name ("New Casino") while other bars changed names many times. A lot of great talent passed through there over the decades, including the twins and their baby sister ;)

Only observation is that Talent is emerging as top spot for day shift Kapiolani KB venue. No place has the girls during the 6 A-5 P slot except for maybe Kalihi 904 or whatever can be negotiated with one KBG for outside services (never go Splash in ages). Let the KBG make the first move, of course.
Planet CStn. - Roly-poly bartender and KB operator (oper. Must have gained 50+ lbs. Since last seen). The BJ specialist was there exposing her plants; VBG on premises, choosing to sit in the booth solo; old vulture circling for dying flesh, possible 70 yo; PBG possibly best one there with huge, sagging jugs. Believe she is horny per conversation, body language, and can probe her core for a few nekos. CS has a variety of BGs to interest its patrons if they're not too picky.
Galaxy 904 - Day bartender friendly and hospitable; those who want service of the past may find her appealing (Connie? Similar to CS-type operation sans the V / PBGs with better quality and range of BGs. Guys who like pupus and varietal range of BGs will find this joint to be satisfactory.
Orbital GTee. This was the least appealing of three KBs, although KBGs in the late 30-40 yo range started to appear after 6 P. The early crew averages late 50-70 yo and busty, 60 yo bartender kept trying to push too much food; had to tell her to stop a few times. The ajumma KBGs are ready for action but I don't know if anybody else is.
Kalihi is a good change of pace from Kapiolani and vice versa. Patronizing both venues is necessary to appreciate or dislike your fave KB, KBG, or area.

Probably will not be another KB because of the circumstances with Julie mama. Other KB mama's would not want to take over Casino as they would consider this place to be, bad luck. Also heard through the KB wireless that the master lease was, sold to Chinese investors. The leases of Club Summit will not be renewed.

I believe that in the long run noting that water table is pretty shallow in the area, they will eventually scrap their plans to develop unless of course they get some kind of varience to tweak the set backs and height limitations. It will revert back to some of bar operation.
Where else can they such outrageous lease rent to any kind of business except a hostess bar.

I can understand their thoughts re: "bad luck".
Kalihi bar aficionados are already aware that Mama Gina has re-taken Cheers Station and has pulled her loyal troops out of Islander leaving the latter a ghost town. Also since Candy Mama has finished her lease at Spotlight and is planning to take a small break, most of her girls have bailed Spotlight for new digs also leaving Spotlight as a ghost town. It will be interesting to see who fills these voids with new or recycled girls and new energy. I have limited rumor info that April 1st will usher in new teams at Cleopatra, You and I and Spotlight. Unfortunately this is from dubious sources and I'm checking with the forum intelligence service as to whether anyone has some details.
In my observation, 904 is currently the front runner in Kalihi, but it's ever evolving and April 1st could shake it all up. And that's the fun of it.
