Anything Is Possible I guess.
I have sometimes wondered if it would be possible to be a club DJ and ask to be paid, either partially or in full, in services. "Sure, I'll spin for you. Just do me one favor: About an hour before closing, I'll give you the name of one or two dancers I'd like to have you send up to the booth. Tell them their tip-out and fees are being covered for the night and take it out of what you were paying me."
I know just enough about club music that I'd consider doing that as a part-time gig.
Funny you should ask that because I always asked the guys I knew that DJ'd clubs the same thing ("Do you get paid in ass in sometimes if the girls can't tip you out? The response I always got was a mix of "very rarely (if at all)" to "I've been known to sample the goods from time to time". I guess it really depends on the club, clientele and caliber of girls working there.
EX: Used to know the head DJ at Flight Club on a pretty personal basis and that dude was married with kids and pretty much said in no uncertain terms "I wouldn't fuck these bitches with your dick" and then I knew a guy that was one of the DJ's at Players that got sucked off in the DJ booth as part of his "tip out" one night. Once again, I suppose it just all depends. Also, from what I'm aware those dudes don't make money like they used to.
In a former life I DJ'd a few non-strip clubs on the west side and covered for a buddy of mine that worked at Landing Strip for a day shift (I think maybe back in 2004 or 2005?) and I think I walked out with something like $200 for the day shift. Not horrible cash mind you (and the ladies were being pretty cool with me), but I know that same guy that I covered for bounces from club to club and makes just about that now on a busy Saturday NIGHT SHIFT. Like I said, if you're into looking at tits all night and not having to work too much for $200 or so, it could be a fun gig but I can't imagine wanting to do that for more than a month or so without wanting to tear my own hair out from playing the same 100 songs over and over again. As with all things, the fantasy sometimes is better than the reality.
Be aware of Winter at Bogart's
I wish I had known about Winter at Bogart's. She made an offer for 6 dances for $. As soon as we got to the VIP, she demanded the $ upfront. That should've been my warning to leave. But, dumb me I stayed. After 3 songs of air dances, she was done. After I pointed it out it was only 3, she reluctantly did one more. After that, she demanded a tip. I gave her a 5 and she said she wants more and tips are not optional. That's when I said no. She then went to the VIP doorman said we made a deal for $60 and only received $55. When I disputed her claim, she said the deal was $$ and I short changed her.
When I spoke to a few other people there, they all said to watch out for her. And that was not her first rodeo. In the end, I guess I didn't get taken too bad. But, the warning signs were there and I just didn't follow them.
Is Only Fans ruining our game?
I had an ATF that dropped off the map after Covid, later found her Instagram. I sent her a message asking where she was dancing at. She replied: I'm not dancing anymore but you can connect with me on my Only Fans. I looked at her Only Fans page and she has over 500 paid monthly subscribers at $20/ month. By my gorilla math that's like $10 k per month? I'm sure the O. F. Wedsite takes a percentage but still that's not a bad monthly salary. I also found an AA dancer from Colli and Truth that has over 2600 monthly subscribers at $10 per month. Is the reason why the top tier girls are all disappearing from the clubs that they are on O. F. And we are left with the rest?
