As the customers, we do have control of the market and how much we chose to spend for whatever services we desire. But I'm not in the habit of lowbailing any experienced great-service provider, nor am I going to waste time talking to anyone who charges $200 for a SS. I make my choices on what I feel is this maximum that I would spend on any particular provider, regardless of time or services rendered. But there still has to be that respectful balance.
