Korean Bar Reports

I have been going a lot more recently to the bars with my friends. They all asking why I not buying any drinks for the girls and I just say low on funds (but really boycott). I gueess it's good because if I don't buy they don"t either. I have to agree with others I don't think the boycott is afffecting the bars to much as compared to the economy being shitty. I still notice that casino, butterfly, T-time, and cameltoes is still doing ok and I still see a lot of guys still buying drinks. Oh well I will continue the boycott untill I get the "all clear" from the seniors. Kinda funny this boycott is kinda like the tsunami only a little show but no damage (to the ROB's). Kalihi is dead at most places but still have the suckers buying drinks for the ho's. I am hoping that it will get worse for the ROB's (fingers crossed) but I will still continue. gl guys

We all would have hoped to have done things differently in the past. Our "youth" hormones always got the best of us. I too have my "mini-boycott", actually it's just being more discretionary with my income. To boycott a known ROB, is not a boycott, it's just commonsense. To not buy drinks in the kb's just defeats the purpose of going to one (unless you are there just for the eye candy). Buying a drink gets you in with a girl. After that 1st drink, it's up to your "game" to bang'em. Seduction, not more drinks, lets you know if she will give you more. If she leaves you, there's your answer. Otherwise it's the usual question: was it me, or was it the drinks. Don't you want to know for sure? Once I tell a kbg, NO, a couple of times, and they never approach me again, then I know they have no interest in me other than for drinks. That's what the girl thinks in reverse. You keep asking her for sex and she says no. You stop asking her, and she says, "I guess all he wanted was sex for drinks". She thinks, was it me or was it just for sex. Now she knows. You never want them to "really" know. Drinks let them know. They view drinks like cash. And cash for sex means prostitution, and the non-sluts never want to viewed as a prostitutes. But if you prefer the sluts, then just ask 'em how much for sex. She will give you a price, then it's up to you to pay or jack off later. If she doesn't give you a price, then you are not f**kable in her eyes for any amount of money.
The common mistake in the kb is, you are into her and she is not into you. Want to know how to seduce a girl. Next time, try buying the ugliest, fattest, oldest girl in the bar a drink. Go to the back table. Giving her a french kiss, she will let you without any fight, trust me, she'll love the attention. Tell her she is cute, and you like girls who have curves. She is not old, but experienced. She will melt. Ask for her number. Tell her you will call her. Now go home and gargle with Listerine, take a Pinesol bath and say to yourself, "WOW, when someone is lonely, I can have power", "easy seduction when they are lonely, all I gotta do is lie". This is the power you are giving to the kbg's when you buy then drinks. Easy money, all she gotta do is lie.
Being discretionary is very lonely when no girls pay attention to you, or doesn't approach you all nite, but, hey, it just means they are not into you other than a money-bag. What more can you ask for. Just as good as them wearing a sign around their neck saying, "I don't like you, but I think you are a loser who will buy me drinks for attention". A lonely guy in the bar, is a guy who is not a sucker. Remember, they don't want to give into sex as just much as you don't want a DUI. How many DUI's do you have? That's how many times they have given into sex they really didn't want to.

Another 12- 20 months of this slow down all government workers are getting pay cuts and forloughs except for HPD and HFD they got pay raises in July 2009 and another 5+% July 1st 2010! All cuts will last another 15 months til July 2011!

For example, just received call from KBG wondering what I'm doing and why long time no see (about one week). Told her I'm home doing work due to being evacuated for the tsunami yesterday.

To make a long story short, she was supposed to call me on her day off for the "wild thing" but did not call (so F her). Told her that when she get time, give a call; she said she 'no more nobody' (told her 'Yeah, sure. Take care') and I ended the conversation.

Seems silly. If I want to go the whole pick-up and seduction routine, I'd go to a nite club or a sports bar, not a KB. You're kidding yourself if you think otherwise and are playing into the ROB KB game. The KB only exists for sex for money.

Actually, I think Iliketowatch gives a very realistic picture of how the KB scene works. Ofcourse, most importantly, the bar girls wants money . No surprise there. But, they do actually act like "regular girl" in the sense that they respect guys who do not buy drinks no matter what happens, and takes an interest in them. It is VERY difficult to know when they really appreciate you or just catch the drift of what might entice you. I guess that is what makes the k-bar "game"
interesting. Sometimes, you'll find a kb-girl who will invite you home because they actually really are into your company. You'll know if they don't ask you for money and ask you to stay without ANY compensation.

My point is the bars have changed over the last 10 years because of weak assed mongers letting the girls get away with this shit. The bars were never like this in the 80s and 90s; they were sex for money. I have never spent the amounts I see written about here or put up with the poor service I see written about here, and have taken many of the girls home and fucked them.

Across from Green Tee the 3 bars right to left: 1st bar runs hot and cold with some old women usually and an occasional good one. Nice place to have a beer and move on. 2nd bar. Never been in it. Always looks like nothing interesting. 3rd bar (Ivy?) gets some nice girls towards the weekend. The bar-back Sky? Likes to hold onto your boto.

1st Time: Runs hot and cold (later in the week being better). Good fun (Angie?).

C&K? (down the street from 1st-time) Great pupu's one time I was there. Met a nice girl but too young for me. (Jay?).

Chocolate: Never been in but cruised by. Saw a tall (real tall) older lady outside and decided best be on my way.

Cleopatra: Sometimes pretty interesting. BeBe moved to T-time. Think it may become my home bar. Right next door bar usually only has a couple of cuties later in the week.

Fire & Ice: Yikes! Maybe the wrong night.

It is more of a night club after 2am. Lot of young locals go there to drink eat and dance. T-time angie is playful but can get very crazy so watch out for her.

The Korean Bar scene has not changed because of the weak assed mongers. It has changed with the laws. Plain and simply put.

I could go in any bar now and some will give play for money and some will not because it is not worth losing their license.

Go to Club Sandy, The old Magazine girl and play can be received with $40.00.

Go to Evergreen spend $1000. 00 and you may never receive play. Get the jist of this?

Do not blame the girls. They do really want a decent man but I doubt it will be from the bars.

Evergreen has many players. One named Mich**le sat with me and without even getting her a drink she flashes me and tweaks her nips. From your first $20 you got game. A bottle of champagne in a room and you get the FS but I don't go k bars for that. Think she works there from 9pm.

What's up with the blocked off parking lot at Cleopatra's? Looks like the other bar is shut down (next to Cleopatra's side entrance). No wonder you'd have to walk through to get to it. So anyways, went and had a couple beers at the bar at Chocolate. Nothing there except old ones (older than me and that's pretty old). Bartender is not bad. She was working a table as well. Oh Saturday night met yuri the little one over at that bar next to McDonald's (3rd bar in the row right to left. Iris?). Anyways too many beers for me and yup she is a ROB. Had fun but she sure hits yah hard. Had play but that one could get real expensive. What's up with that mouth thang.

The parking lot is owned by bishop, they no longer want the bar’s to use there parking lot after CW Carter (now owned by NAPA) moved out of the warehouse in the back. They will soon build a wall/fence blocking all access. This will put Africa out of business.

The mamas I hear at some bars are having a hard time with rent etc. This means people are spending less, but yes, I know what you mean. I saw someone the other night buy 3 women drinks spent, over $500 sitting at the bar only. WTF, makes it harder on all of us. The worse part of it one of the women could be classified as a ROB, but I have not made my final decision yet.

The grand opening of Crystal Palace/Business Thur/Fri/Sat should be interesting. Mimi has no new girls, only the ones that have been working there since she opened a few weeks ago. What makes things really interesting is they built a stage with a pole for dancers. So will this place be a hostess bar with strippers or a strip club with hostesses?

Very interesting, they almost completed their renovations. They have a huge room to the left when you walk in. Probably can hold 20 or more people in there. There are new restrooms on that side and a few more rooms down the corridor. Those rooms aren't ready yet but pretty soon. The mauka wall by the bar now has a stage area with a pole that can be used for dancers. They have 3 new booths behind planters that are across from the big room. Next to the new booths there are 2 big aquariums. They have some open areas that could be converted to booths (if they get rid of the aquariums) but the place may not be full enough for that.

They had 4 go go dancers on Thusday night. The dancers worked a few shifts and danced for about 15 minutes. Some of the girls were hot, a couple in bikinis, one was sheleen from banzai. They may have some go go dancer nights if it works out well. Actually I think they still have the strip club/bar license so let's hope that they have real strippers (not likely, LOL).

Yeah, most of the girls working are from other kb's. Had a couple of lookers but not sure how much play is available. They really need to get a new crop of girls to make this place successful.

I'm brand new to this whole thing but I went to two KB's last night and thought I should report on it. First I went to Secrets and spent some time with Lilly. She was a real nice girl but I felt was a waste of time. She barely even touched me. Then we went over to Moon Flower and right at the first drink I had my one of my digits in the girl. If I took it out she would shove it back in. This went on for a few drinks. She wanted to do more but I had to leave. Not gonna give away her name but I was very pleased.

Will owners of smaller bars consolidate in some way in order to survive?

On a separate note, heard that big Betty from T-Time and a couple other investors own either the master lease or the land occupied by Casino, Buttfly. If that is the case then perhaps we'll see one super bar with smaller concessions within, izakaya style. I know it sounds dumb. Too much drinky last night. Hope you guys had fun.

The bars I went to were real slow for a Friday night; guess Sat. Nights are traditionally busier. Boycott still intact.

In my option, Crystal Palace is way too big. You need a lot of people to fill it, it looks empty. I did not have a good feeling when I was there, didn’t see many girl’s, parking/drive thru sucks. Probably won’t go back.

It just depends on the mama. When Patty opened it in 93, it was packed most of the time. However, the place was like a maze with hidden areas that were pretty private. The funny thing is, the economy was in the doldrums back then, too.

Drove by late last night. Safari is closed and Pisces (Cleo) looked dead. The blocked parking lot will eventually close Pisces too.

Betty has a lot of real estate, but I believe the Casino/Butterfly property is heavily leveraged and they paid somewhere @ $6 million for the property. Debt service on $6 mil is @ $500k per year, plus property taxes, maintenance, insurance... If the bars fail, I don't know what kind of business can go in there and still pay them as much.

Watch out for Lily,there is play from her;however she drinks fast and gets nuts when shes drunk.
