I've been going in and out of town the past few weeks, so I haven't had much time to look. When I have gone there has been almost no one around, or the ones around are not worth picking up.
Picked up WSW Jamie off NBA. Went to one of my spots after coming to an agreement. CBJ was meh, so went for CFS. Despite the mileage on her face she is still pretty tight. Greek is available but I wasn't interested at that time. Finished in the bag, returned her back to her area.
Saw Cindy out on S. Wilmington at a bus stop with her wheelchair nearby. Tried to pick her up but she said she was going to a doctor's appointment about her hip and the bus came by before I could loop around to take her. Next time I see her I'm going to grab her number for easier access.
Kasey / K. C. Is out and about on NBA as well in several places. However, she looks horrible and not worth the pickup. She's gained a lot of weight, cut her hair (also looks like it's thinned out in several areas), and didn't seem mentally stable. Last time I tried to just talk with her and was going to give her a few bucks to get some food, but when she got to my car the smell was overwhelming. I still gave her a few bucks, but afterwards I made sure I sanitized my hands.
Has anyone approached the woman that begs at the corner near WakeMed? I've not had the opportunity to talk with her to see if she's available. I have seen less women panhandling in the normal spots.

The one hanging out in the NBA area looks a lot like Kacey only with shorter hair and a bigger belly. So much so I stopped and asked her if she was Kacey. A bit of a mistake as she hoped in and I basically paid her to leave. If you go back a few months you will find some unfavourable reviews about Star. She even confirmed she cut her own hair with a razor knife confirming the review was accurate.
There were reports about Kacey being on South Saunders sometime last year but I've had no luck finding her and I went looking a lot. I suspect it was actually Star as she moved from S. Saunders to the NBA area sometime in the late summer early fall so the timing of the reports would work. I suspect Kacey has moved away or left the business. Though if anyone knows different please let me know.

KC sometimes post on STG starting at 80 QV, last location I seen her was Appliance but not sure where she's at now.

But I guess if she's mentally unstable then anything is possible. She is definitely out walking all the time.

She is definitely out walking all the time.[/QUOTE]I dealt with her last year before she went crazy, Even then you had to watch her: Gave her 10 bucks before I knew she was a walker, That same night find out she was and still charged me full price as if I didn't gave her 10 bucks (She remembered me as the guy who gave her 10 bucks earlier). Ask her for extra time to make up for that 10 bucks and she said yes but claimed her jaw lock up after 5 minutes so not only did I lost 10 bucks she wasn't worth the 20 I gave her. From that day I never dealt with her and I assumed others didn't then a week later is when she started going crazy with the haircut and sometimes walk around the street half exposed.

Plus there was a lot of uncle presence cruising around. Wasn't sure if it was all coincidence or not. But seeing Halifax is a very good sign. She's on my list of dreams.
