I've RTFF and from what I see, the SW seem is now sparse. I was planning on driving to DC to monger next weekend (6+ hr drive) and I don't want to waste my time and drive the distance if the main thing on the menu are "chicks with dicks". That is not my thing.
Someone please advise me is the SW scene worth a 6 hour drive?

To all: Downtown is open. I am not sure who told who it was closed forever but I am happy to say it is open as of this minute. The only way Downtown will close is if the building owner terminates the lease or the City changes the laws. Great News, yes.

You could do yourself the favor of driving an extra 45 minutes and hit Baltimore. Plenty of SW action to be had. DC has good action at night in the K & L St. NW, between 10th & 16th St. area. Too expensive IMHO. It is priced on a par with DC AMPs. For lower priced SW without going to B'more, not much but skank of the worst kind. My hometown in Maryland of less than 3,000 has better quality crack addict SW, and that isn't saying much.

I have not seen enough street action lately in DC to make it worth driving for 6 hours and I do not know that I have ever seen any particular SW that was attractive enough to drive 6 hours for. I agree with Baltimonger's assertion that SWs are too expensive in DC but it is possible to negotiate a reasonable price.

I haven't written a report in a while, so I thought I would write a story.
I got off the the Archives Navy Memorial Metro station about 9:45 on Friday night and walked over to 6th Street, stopped at an ATM and walked on up the street thinking I might stop at Sun Spa. There was some event letting out at the MCI Center, too much action for me, so I continued walking north headed for Mirage on K Street. When I got to K street, I stood at the corner waiting for the light to change and there were three transexuals walking West on the other side of the street. Well I finally made it to Downtown and as the old saying goes "the third time’s the charm." If you mongers recall I struck out (no-FS) twice at Young’s in Tyson over the past few months. I posted those reports and received advice from my friends here. Well I'm proud to report that I crossed into the FS world today (Sunday).
Here's the run down. (Friday) -- I arrived in D.C. (Saturday)-- I checked the forum to see if downtown had reopened and it had. I called and verified that they were indeed open!! I would like to stop my report here to briefly address the 'stairs'. In various posts throughout this forum, posters have talked about the 'stairs' at Downtown. The wondered how many drunken, piss covered homeless persons it took to achieve the putrid smell found in the stairwell. Anyway, I made my way to the fourth floor and found a wooded door with a Visa, MC sign located just below the peep hole. The lady I followed up the stairs stopped at the door and allowed me to ring the doorbell. I asked if Mimi was working today and she said yes.
