Saw the LSW tonight. She takes instruction well. Very cheerful and smiling the whole time. She was wearing a black mini dress and stilettos. She worked it good.

It's funny now that there is a 21 month prison sentence for getting caught with a 17 y/o hooker, that I was too afraid to pick any of those girls last night. Sure they looked 18, 19, 20, maybe older but jeeze, misjudge just once and life over. Sure you can check ID and all that, but half the time they're pulling down their panties doing the check before you even get the chance.

Seen this WSW yesterday around noon near the KK. I had seen her out the previous evening about 9 PM wearing the same outfit so probably been working the extended shift. Could be pretty good looking but had her hair in some very unattractive rows.

It's a bit harder than it seems for cops to bust for statutory rape for a girl that you did not know was a minor. I believe the cops must prove that you knew she was a minor. My guess if that asked to see her license or asked if she was 18 that this would get you off. It pays to use caution nonetheless.

Under our new law, thinking she was 18 or older will not help, it's written right into the law. What will get you off is making a diligent attempt to determine her age and being fooled into thinking she was 18. Cops lie all the time, so simply telling them you asked to see her ID or that she told you she was 18 won't work....you'll still get 21 months. I talked to an attorney friend who said he probably could win such a case. I asked him how much and he said a minimum of $20,000 and that's only if it didn't go to court. So even if you win......you lose. Just not as much.

Also, how could you prove in court that you actually checked a SW's ID? Even if she had a fake ID showing she was 18, I think the cops would find a way to lose that piece of evidence in a hurry.

We all want to avoid minors but, one thing to remember is that the cops actually have to catch you in the act. Simply mistakenly picking up a minor is not enough to constitute statutory rape. The other thing to remember is that the SW is just as concerned about going to jail.

Hargow, since you don't live in Washington, it is understandable that you are not familiar with our laws. The conduct you describe ("picking up a minor") is a violation of RCW 9.68A.100(c) and is a Class C felony requiring registration.

As far as Hargow is involved just do what a lot of us in SoCal do and ignore 85% of what he says. But I would like more info on the area of seattle and mt vernon if there is anything available or more details on what the strolls are? I will be up there just after the 4th of july for a short vacation.
