Do they want you to upload a selfie or take one where you move the phone around like setting up Face ID on a phone?

The former gives you a shot at trying a proxie. The live selfie would be a non starter for me. So far dodging that bullet.

Anyone else getting "your profile is unsearchable" and all of a sudden I need to update my profile? It's asking me to put in a new name and it's denying all the names I put in. I've had my profile for years and all of a sudden this BS. Anyone else having issues or is it just me?

Especially if the OP's obscure image is really him, showing them a selfie that matches what is on the mature profile might be OK. They say you don't have to post the selfie as a profile photo. During the process they tell you that they don't do anything w / the selfie, they don't save it, etc.

If the process is different from this, then sure, you don't want to put something into their hands that they could get broken into.

I had an odd experience. I have used for years photos of someone who looks like me but isn't. I tried taking a real pic of me and using AI to modify it so the facial rec sites didn't recognize it as me. I got that far, but when I tried to add it to a profile (don't recall which site), the photos was rejected because "not of the person".

They just got around to you. I was forced to do this perhaps 6 months ago. They killed everything. Profile content, photos, the looking for tabs, etc.

Ineligible primary photo and username. My primary photo has my face hidden. So now it just shows the silhouette. I've got a few pictures hidden that still work. Still appears to have my UN. I can still use the site / message people but it says my profile isn't searchable. I keep it hidden anyway.

I'm basically waiting to get fully booted from there. Won't ever put a fully identifying picture up. And I think once you're on their radar nothing good follows.

No way to make it go away unless you take your profile off being hidden.

WTF. They upped it to 150 a month. This dude is getting greedy as fuck.

I'm not even going to bother until I visit NYC. I refuse to waste money for dc subpar things.

But a model nonetheless so he has nice looking professional pics and I have those on bumble and hinge. On those vanilla websites I don't mind doing the video / selfie verify and have successfully verified myself using someone else's pictures and my face scan.

In the past 4/5 years only 1 woman called me out on the fake pics during an in person meet.

But I refuse to face scan on seeking. Yes they want the scan, not pic upload. Not doing it. For more than a year now I only use seeking while traveling (DC sucks, I think my last 20 posts on this forum are about how DC SB pool sucks).

Anyway my primary account that I posted about seems to have been suspended for now. I cannot use any features until I selfie verify. It sucks that they did this while I am still a paying customer. WTF.

For now I found another long forgotten account I used to have from maybe around covid time. I successfully got back into seeking using that old account and so far it hasn't asked me to selfie verify. Its currently free I'm going to log in and browse for a few weeks but eventually I'll.
