Maybe that is why Maya & Patty have gotten out of the business. They were probably two of the most successful owners, but yet in the end it was difficult for them to stay in business.

Saw new bartender was told was Ashley from Casino, heard thru grapevine a lot of girls now at 74. Bar was busy for Tuesday night. I guess guys flush with Super Bowl wins. One of the other guys won on the reverse was spreading the good luck around. All in all cheap and quiet night for me and collected up my side bet. Actually made more than I spent tonight a rarity.
Summit. Saw open booths and bar chairs, so was able to sit, girls all with customers except for 3 or 4. Couple of white girls working.
Talent. Not busy, booths empty, had around 4 girls waiting for customers, tall good looking k-girl wanted a drink but declined.
74 - sat with Mina, Taiwanese girl, she got 2 drinks out of me, she wanted a 3rd, I said no kissie no drinkie. BTW, not bad looking, about 5-2" maybe w / o heels, looked young but she said 38 I think.

Naturally, the survivors will have overcome the aforementioned and deserve some respect.
Get plenty decent KBs to patronize so I no put up with no disrespect; that's the LVB's job.
Anyone remember the bar name of this place before it was renamed?

I have not been to all the bars but the few that have provided me good service are the following: Summit, 74, Club Talent, Splash, and believe it or not Evergreen (maybe the guy I was with). International was pretty fast as well. There are a couple of places where we just walked out but their loss. In Kalihi I think La Novia is the best right now with Yujin as bartender and her home style cooking it is a combination that can't be beat, besides she is a fine Lady and person.

Just seen a former popular bartender at splash now working at longs, if you guys connect the dots you can pretty much figure out who it is, she looks happier, Still can't get over how tiny she is.
The white girls are part timer. I bought one of the girls a few drinks. Next night I go back she was not there. The one with the tattoos always playing with her phone. I seem customers buy them one or two drinks and the girls move on.

Some of the girls have day job. So they can have medical and retirement benefit. I know a Pearl City BG work as a hotel room cleaner in the day. Another one work at a retail store in Waikiki. Some of them even quit the bar work if they like the day job so much.

Very conservative, actually IMO too conservative for a somewhat hot working girl whose time I must pay for. Not that I wanted a kiss, but she did act like we just met on a legitimate basis and would not allow an arm around her.
Pleasant personality and nice to chat with, but in a hostess bar that only gets you so far.
