Was in Tampa a few days. Tried a couple of clubs. First was "Silks" up on 19 close to Tarpon Springs. No dancing just a bar with VIP rooms in the back. $80 for 15 minutes, $160 for 30 etc. I didn't try but had a pleasant convo at the bar. Actually I figured the VIP was a short term fuck pad and if so was probably not a bad deal. I stayed at the Econolodge by the Bucs stadium in Tampa, surrounded by clubs.

I tried Lipstick? Yep 16 entry fee, 20 for VIP, 120 for nude dance with CBJ and CFS. Had to be quick but really about as satisfying as a wank. Girl was pretty and other girls there attractive but absolutely no connection at all with the ladies. Just a quick fuck and out you go. Just my opinion.

The only smoke free clubs that I know are Mons Venus and 2001 Odyssey. The rest allow it. I think at OZ, the girls try not smoke in front of you. So you might not have it in your face. But your clothes will smell of it.

In Florida, Smoking is in allowed at "stand-alone bars with no more than 10% of revenue from food sales," (wikipedia, State statute).

Hello guys, just moved here a little over a year ago from drab ass Savannah. Glad to be back with some proper gents. I have been watching more than posting but something piqued my interest today. I stopped off around lunchtime at 2001 just for the hell of it bc I was bored. Not busy at all of course but I received a dance from an Asian which I will share her name through PM. After 3 dances she tells me that I could get 30 minutes upstairs and I'm pretty sure she was implying much more than just a dance seeing as she had a hand full of junior. She said 2. 75 which of course is out of my range seeing as I could get a full hour at Han River (Awesome place! Did anyone know that you could get extras there bc I sure didn't. Was wondering if anyone else had the same experience.

Since most strippers smoke, the lounge is probably the place to be. I think the last time was there, about 2 months ago, I still came home smelling like smoke.

I was in Tampa and dropped by Dream's one afternoon. Only a few patrons and 4 dancers. I sat stageside and watched a 30 something black dancer do her thing on stage. Since I had the day off I decided to make a couple stops. The first placed I stopped was Dreams. It is an extremely small place with no cover. There is smoking going all around not my favorite thing but I delt with it. Had a beer which was reasonably priced. Not many dancers but I expected it for the time I went. If you are into bigger women this is the place for you. I will go back again.

Next place I went was ybor strip. $10 cover. Not many dancers again. There was a latina in a green glow in the dark set that caught my eye. No name but suspected a good time for all parties can be had for the right motivation. She did have limited english. Hope this was ok.

Welcome to the board. I have always been able to find extras at both YS and Dreams. The girls are a little hotter at YS but the extras at Dreams are cheaper. Ben Franklin will usually get you a nice BJ at Dreams.

I have never gone into any strip club a not get at least one beverage. If the place is full of skanks I walk out before I'm finished with it. I've never had a bouncer hassle me about not buying a second drink if I'm clearly not having fun. Hey, he knows he's got a bar full of hags!

One Drink Minimum is the poicy of YS. It's written on the wall as soon as you open the door. The waitress tracks you down as soon as you take a seat. They usually come around and ask if you want a second drink if you sit there for a while.

If you are sitting around a business and not buying anything it's called loitering. $10 bucks seems steep for a water, normally $4 bucks at most clubs. That said, try walking up to some women at the mall and asking them to get naked for $10 and see what happens. When you think about it that way $10 is not such a bad deal.

Sheesh, I know buying drinks is customary and you can't just sit around. Didn't think I needed to preface my post with the fact that this wasn't my first sc visit and I drink often. This night, all they had was water and red bull and only orange redbull at that. They were trying to pawn them off on us like they had a quota to meet or something. A guy can only drink so many in an hours time. It just seemed strange is all.

While I understand Cook's point about what they call TANSTAAFL in economics (there ain't no such thing as a free lunch), I agree with the OP's main point that making you pay $10 for what, IMHO, is an undrinkable beverage is totally ridiculous. The going rate for drinks at most stripclub's is more on the order of $3-5. Besides, if the idea is to reduce freeloaders than just charge a door fee that comes with a drink if you want it. At least that'd be more upfront.

It's true that some establishments post signs at the entrance if they expect a 2 drink minimum, but most do not strictly enforce that. Personally, I always order a drink shortly after I sit down unless the offerings look so poor I'm not sure I'm going to stay, but that's as much to avoid looking like one of those cheapskate freeloaders as anything else.

Occasionally, I get hit up by a waitress to buy a drink before I even find a place to sit down and I'm not shy about telling her to BACK-OFF the hard sell and that I'll order my drink AFTER I've had a chance to find a spot (or else just leave if the place is dead and / or all the girls are ugly).

BTW, another tip (at least for the places that serve it) is to order an alcoholic beverage the 1st time if you're new to a place. Dancers notice stuff like that and it helps reassure them that you're not a cop.

As for a 2nd drink, unless I'm staying there for a while, I nurse my 1st beer and rarely order a 2nd and rarely do I get hassled for it as long as I'm spending money in other ways and not behaving like a complete cheapest getting a free show. In other words, I always tip the door girl at least a buck when I come in (if there is one), tip the waitress for that 1st drink and any that follow and tip the girls on stage at least a buck or two (unless they're really ugly, but even some of them if they've been nice). Oh yeah, and if I've paid (or plan on paying) for a VIP session, they can just kiss my lily white ass if they still want to insist on my meeting their arbitrary drink minimum.

Thinking of making a drive to Lipstixxs from Ocala. How attractive is the talent? Mostly Latin or White girls?

I was in Tampa last week bumming around your area for a little are&are. Not my first time partaking in the business in this area, but it had been a few years. I stopped into silks because its convinient to where I stay when I come down. It was early night, around 9 ish, minimal activity, stayed for about one hour tops. Got a dance from one girl who was ok. No interest for anything else, so I moved on. Stopped and got some food then took it into to Secrets. I really only stopped there because I know they serve alcohol, which for some reason seems rare in your area. Where I come from every strip club offers alcohol, but to each city their own.
