Bangkok. There are ladyboys (kathoeys) running around all over the place. I have been to Bangkok on several occassions, enough times to where I have honed my skills in distinguishing the ladyboys from the real girls. I too would appreciate more of a description as I believe I have driven all around Lomita checking out the various AMPs and I have yet to see one that has Bangkok in the name. I also considered the various areas of Bangkok where a lot of the ladyboys are found (Sukhumvit, Patpong, NaNa, Soi Cowboy) and I have not seen an AMP in Lomita that has either of these names as well. Given my adventures in Thailand I know either of these names would be one I would not have missed. Unless this place is new then I have not seen it in Lomita.
Please provide more detail as I would like to see if this place could remotely compare to what I have experienced in Thailand.

Bangkok Spa
It's on the south side of PCH, between Western and Crenshaw. You know where Dominos Pizza is?
Just East of that and not within the little strip mall itself.
I think it used to be a building shared with a record store. It may all be the spa now.
There's at least 15 different AMPs on PCH, between Vermont and Hawthorne, from my count, so it's not surprising you didn't see this one.

And if anyone thinks that I'm giving away any top secret info with this, they're insane. All the PD has to do is ask (email or do a search query themselves) for a list of all massage parlors (by permit type) in the city databases. It's not hard at all for them. Worst case scenario involves a clerk doing it for them and then emailing the results, if the computer system is some old piece of crap.
Does it confirm anything? Not at all, other than "hey, the name of this place is such and such and is located at such and such street", which they already know.
Never been there. Don't even know what's on offer or not. It's possible that the original report is from a shill, helping to drum up TOFTT business.
And posts on message boards on the internet? That can obviously be used as evidence in certain cases or you wouldn't have lawsuits/criminal investigations over such things. (e.g. pump and dump stock fraud; murder investigations, etc). It won't be the primary evidence, but may be enough to get investigations going, which could lead to a case eventually being built and warrants being produced.
With Bratton gone, things will likely calm down for a little bit, while cities and counties reconsider the most cost-effective way of generating revenue. There's a reason why the state is moving to allow cities to turn the stop light cameras also into speed trap cameras. That's far cheaper than doing investigations, including undercover duty.
The real question is whether Bratton's successor will continue to use ComStat and push that to do performance evaluations of Watch Commanders/etc. That is more likely to drive change along with any other federal initiatives on human trafficking, etc.
But, it doesn't matter that much whether a real name is given or "code names" are used. If it's consistent, then there will be a little table of terms handed over to whoever signs the warrant. That's the SOP for investigations into criminal enterprises.

Men usually have their ring fingers LONGER than their index finger. Women's index finger is longer than their ring finger. No matter how much surgery they do, fingers aren't done, simply because people aren't looking for them.

Saw an add on Craig's List for a place by LAX. Its next to a few houses and a hotel. Not really sure its a good location. Anyway, went there asked for a asian chick. She was not too attractive. Thin, would rate the face a 6 out of 10 and she was not very friendly. Usually the asian women I've dealt with are warm and friendly.
Anyway, asked for 30mins ( half of $) and was given a very unenthusiastic performance. The oral was terrible and she was lazy. I really felt like I wasted my time. Recently in town on business. Thanks to a PM recommendation from a senior member, I went to the country club place in Gardena. Told the papasan I'd been there a very long time ago, and he laughed, I guess they haven't been there as long as I would have guessed.
Anyway, was asked "asian or latin?" and chose asian. Put all my clothes and my wallet into the locker and showered. There was another, older asian guy in the spa, but other than that no one around. I went back out and put on shorts from their pile, and then went into the doorway marked "massage". I was met there and led into the usual small room.
In comes a 7 K-girl, probably in her 20s. It's always a good sign when the first thing they do is get naked. Decent massage with lots of attention to the nether regions, plus a bit of a body slide.
