Re: Long time lurker. First time poster

I have never been to one of those adult video stores that advertise Live shows. How does that work?
Here's a message that I posted on another site in reply to a similar question:
My one and only visit to a "fantasy booth" occurred years ago, so this information may be outdated by now, but here is what I remember.
The newspaper advertisement says "Live Girls!" and "Private & Very Intimate," and the same (or a similar) advertisement was being used when I went. However, the advertisement didn't mention that the customer's booth was separate from the enclosure where the woman was located, and that those two areas were divided by a wall with a window (so there was no physical contact). As I recall, the cost of a session at that time was $20.
The woman I observed through the window was a fairly young and attractive local lady, probably in her early or middle twenties. She had full breasts, a nice brown complexion, and pretty hair. She was somewhat chubby, but I actually like chubby women. During the session she showed me everything, including spreading her legs to display her pussy, and she pretended to passionately masturbate. (Presumably a customer is also allowed to masturbate, although I didn't do so.) I would estimate that the session lasted about five minutes, perhaps slightly longer. If I had wanted more time I could have paid more money, but personally I didn't feel it was worth it. Being separated from the woman by a wall and window made the experience seem too artificial and much less interesting.
Ethnic Koreans from Japan in AMPs
Jet Ranger,
Keep in mind that there is a long, bitter history between Korea an Japan. This may account for the apparent discomfort of Japanese or Korean/Japanese women working in spas, which are mostly Korean.
I'm sure they don't get treated very well.

That's part of it for sure. The other fascinating experiences I've had were with ethnic Korean women raised in Japan who worked in Korean run AMPs in California. One girl was practically in tears as she told of how her Korean born and raised coworkers practically ostracized her. Although she spoke Korean, she apparently had adopted some of the behavior and mannerisms of her Japanese peers as she was growing up and was perceived as "different" and therefore, was isolated.
A real Japanese girl in a Korean run AMP would really have a tough time.
