With gals off sugar sites, as they usually aren't reviewed, unfortunately, to avoid being scammed / robbed you need to elongate the process. I learned this the hard way after getting scammed a couple different ways and robbed once. I got sloppy after successful first meets that were intimate right away. Criminals are looking for a quick lick and they don't want to meet in public for the initial meet and greet. Unfortunately it's a time commitment but the first meeting should be platonic over coffee / drinks where you can get an idea about what she's about.

I've gotten really picky these days, and I hide a lot of profiles every day. Most I haven't even chatted with. The profiles just aren't attracting me. Some of I have chatted with, and based on chat decided to end the discussion, and not go forward. There are a lot of horrible personalities out there, as well as a LOT of GPS! I'm busy, and have no time for that stuff, and not desperate, so I'm just very selective. Even if it takes a few months.

I've been on and off Seeking and am currently not a paying member, so I can't message anymore, but I can still see profiles. For the heck of it I did some searching. A lot of them are are delusional, especially the younger ones. Who spend a lot of time on social media. They will see an influencer on TikTok say they're getting hundreds for a meet and greet which is make believe IMO. I had one gal say she wants $500 LOL. I'm not much into the sugar lifestyle anymore. I spoil $150 and under these days, and those are for intimate dates.

For those of you newer to Seeking Arrangements, 6-10 years ago almost any type of arrangement would start with a brief meeting (meet and greet) where there was no compensation given. They might ask for little money for an Uber, gas or parking but it was usually a very small amount.

This is all going to be based on my own experience and others may have different experiences and, if so, please chime in if yours was different. It was understood by most people on the site that at that time that would set up an in person meeting to see how you got along and discuss details of an arrangement. If you did move forward with an arrangement it was also understood that it would include having sex. The idea of a "platonic" arrangement really didn't exist. Those that were looking for a platonic arrangement usually disappeared from the site fairly quickly.

For me, these meet and greets are much fun as the actual arrangement as you never knew what was going to happen. I would try not to get into many details prior to the first meeting, so would go into them not knowing a lot about the women. I would definitely avoid talking about money before the in person meeting. I found that they were usually willing to take lower amounts once they met you and felt comfortable that you were a decent person.

I don't know how many of these I went on over the years but it is hundreds. My rule was either drinks or coffee only for first meeting. If they insisted on lunch or dinner they were automatically out. Of course there were the occasional no shows but you learn to accept those as the good ones more than made up for those. Some days I was screwing a woman I met at her apartment during my lunch and would meet someone new form site later in the day for happy hour. My experiences ranged from an ex-boyfriend (who was an MMA fighter) following her the coffee shop and sitting down with us to having a few drinks at a bar before heading back to my office and fucking her on my desk with no discussion of an allowance.

I loved the spontaneity of the whole thing and I don't think the women always knew what to expect either or how they would react. I met one, who was a college student, let me know she had only been with two men in her life and wanted to take things slow. An hour later we stopped in an alley while I was giving her a ride home and she couldn't rip my close off fast enough. So much for taking it slow LOL.

I could go on about my experiences and the changes that have occured over the years that are not for the better from the men's perspective. But it will never be what it once was and just have to make the best of it with how it is now. Although, I still won't pay for meet and greets.

I'll never forget meeting Alexis for the first time. Ryan, you know who I'm talking about. The meet and greet lasted 10 minutes and we went to my place.
