I haven't seen Tera, still I agree with many of the points you raise.

I'm not going to risk responding in the Kison thread. This is usually the point where someone plays the "whiteknight" card. Anyhow, when guys come to the boards to complain about a "worst" all time experience ever with a well reviewed provider, it usually raises an eyebrow if the report is not balanced. There was another fellow on the boards, I haven't seen post in several months, who used to write this very misogynistic screed about always getting the downside of YMMV, etc etc. He was constantly complaining about YMMV everywhere he went.
