That's a crazy story!!

Not sure it would've ended the same way for me. I had an appt set up with her (from CL Resumes) but flaked when she texted me the address. Years ago, and through the years, I learned (the hard way) that not much good happens for us mongers on Lake St.

Even tho it didn't have a 'Happy Ending' I would say it still ended happy. Nobody got hurt, you got your money back and you got out of Dodge before you had to deal with what could've been.

He says this is his little sister and she's only 17. I tell him that she lied in the ad and that he needs to leave the room. He then asks if I have a gun. I reply if you take a step towards me you're going to find out what I have. I forgot to mention that when he stepped into the room he tells the girl to wait in the bathroom. We're going back and forth when I grab my cellphone and dial 911. I tell him to leave the room, I'll get dressed and he can deal with her later. I told him you're trying to check the wrong person. He backs up and the lights go off (he inadvertently hit the switch). I tell him to turn the light back on before he gets it; he hits the switch. I then say leave the room before I hit the send button. He says go ahead, you're only calling on yourself. At this point, the only thing I can do is either dial 911 or make a move at him. Since I'm still butt ass naked, I hit the send button. The operator comes on, I tell them I'm at the hotel and there are several people trying to rob me. The guy then leaves the room. The 911 operator starts asking me a ton of questions. I reply back that it was a mistake and that I'm okay. I then hang up. The girl comes out of the bathroom and she's acting nervous. I told her that I wasn't up for playing games and that this was bs. I start putting my clothes on and since she never moved the donation, I'm able to grab that as well. The police call back asking me what the situation was. I tell them I'm okay and they said they are on their way to the hotel. I tell them it's fine but they say they need to speak with me to make sure there is "no gun to my head" and that the culprits are making me say these things. I tell them I'll meet them in the lobby. I ask the girl where the guy is and she says outside the room. I put my coat on, walk to the door and I look to my right, don't see him and then I step out and look to the left. He's standing a few rooms down. I have my knife in my right hand and I walk by him. He says to check IDs next time. I tell him they're playing a dangerous game. I then walk towards the staircase and out the side door. I walk away from the lot to a side street with a bunch of single family homes. As I am making my way back towards Lake Street, I see a Roselle squad car drive by. I then keep walking to I make it to a Tilted Kilt. At this point I need a drink. I go to the bar, grab a Corona and a few minutes later, my phone rings. It's the police and they want to make sure I'm okay. I tell them I'm fine and they ask if I can come talk to them. I lie and say that I have already left and that I'm in Naperville (I didn't know what else to say LOL). The cop replies it sounds like you're at a bar; I get nervous thinking he may figure out I'm still in the area. He then asks, what room were you in. I tell him the room number. Now prior to that, I had text the girl from a different number to see what she would say. I go no response. About 15 minutes later, she texts the other number back saying the cops were in the room. I finished my second beer and got out of dodge.

More and more I'm telling myself I'm done with BP. I'm not sure if this was a sign, but definitely a close call indeed. Guys stay safe out there.

I've been reading through the reports in this thread and it appears that all of you prefer incalls as opposed to outcalls. I know that incalls are cheaper. Are there other reasons why? Once someone knows the address you open yourself up for a lot of potential trouble. Blackmail, I'd theft, harassment, extortion, and probably many other issues. Maybe not a big deal for younger, unestablished hobbyists, but for those with a responsible job, community status, or the need to keep the public life separate from the private life it makes a difference.
