I'm not from high point, but I drove through there a couple of weeks ago to see who was out, and saw ripoff queen Caroyln H, and a black SW out at the intersection of Martin St, and Willis St (basically a street over from Cassell St). Definitely not someone I was wanting to see again. It reminded me of why I quit this hobby, just as reading about your experience with Selena did. There are rip-offs out there, and it just isn't one person, or an experience that could only happen once.
Years ago, I picked up Carolyn H, of whom I later refer to as the "Nightmare on Elm Street" (because that's where I had picked her up at, and that's how it went). I also refer to her as "meatloaf" because that's what I think of her body. Anyway, when I picked her up, she demanded money, I gave her some, and then without having done anything to earn the money I had already generously given her, demanded even more, and wouldn't get out of my car for like an hour after being asked to. Even after having driven her back to the spot she wanted to be dropped off at. It was so bad, I was worried she was going to pull out a knife on me, and stab me with it. And then who knows what I might have had to do to defend myself. All over some stupid shit.
Now, from what I know of Selena, she isn't nearly as bad as Carolyn H, but a ripoff is still a ripoff, and why I don't monger anymore. I just don't need the BS. On a side note, I read Selena's latest ad on SkipTheGames, and some of the things people like her post in her ads just strike me as hilarious such as:

The idea did go through my head, but I had also heard of a rumor that Carolyn H has been known to suck off the cops too, and the last thing I'd want is for one of the cops to take her side, or even if they didn't, to become suspected of anything by them by having a known prostitute in my car. As it is, I have had no encounters with High Point's police, and am unknown to them. That's how I'd prefer to generally keep it. I'd also be afraid that it might not have phased her any, as she seemed to have nerves of steel to act the way she did. For all she could have known, I might have had a knife, or gun on me, and here she was asking for it by not getting out of my car, and making me feel like my life might be threatened. In fact, if it weren't for her drug dealer, pimp, or whoever it was blowing up her phone while she was with me to hurry up with the money, she probably would have kept at it, and things might have actually escalated instead of her giving up, and getting out of the car with an attitude, and telling me I better never pick her up again. Like why in the hell would I ever want to?
Now comparing that to Selena, I would have rather sent Selena money by mistake than to have had that encounter with Carolyn H, because that encounter had a lot of potential to end a lot more badly than what it actually did.
I've passed many girls because I've only seen her once. So I'm not really sure what she looks like because it was raining and she had her hood up. She got me too, ended up taking me for 40, but again I dropped her off and it was pouring. But I'm sure that was a temporary set back for her. And she spent my cash quickly. She wanted me to take her to the store, then when we got back she pulled the, I have to get another room excuse. I wasn't going for it at first, then she cut the amount of cash down to 30 so, I have in. She around front to the office area, and took off. I was so pissed, I need it was going to happen but did it anyway. I texted her a few weeks later from another number, and got a visit. She tried the same scam again, and didn't even remember my face. This time when we got back to the motel, I told her I wasn't giving her shit, until she performed. She made some calls, and borrowed a room. We went and she started on the BBBJ, then she climbed on for some cowgirl till finished. I got up, got dressed, and started to the door, and she asked for her donation. That's when I said, you it last time we met. She played dumb, and I told where it was, and how it all went down, and told her to fuck off. Then she started looking out the window saying the guy outside wasn't going to be too happy so, I showed her a little glimpse of my 9 grip, and walked out the door. There wasnt anybody there.
