The main thing is be aware of your surrounding & always look to see who is walking behind you. The Zona is fairily safe. But you never know when there is a possible uptick in crime. I went to Tijuana for the first time last month. If you are going to go, go on a Friday or Saturday night. I parked at the Gateway parking, if you are facing the Jack in the box, the parking lot is to the left, don't use the parking lot behind the Jack in the box. If you park there the border is right across the street. Once you enter into Mexico, you will run right into the Zona Shuttle, just take that to HK, it's free but tip the driver a few bucks, use the shuttle to go back as well, they drop you right at the border. Make sure to bring lots of $1's, everyone and I mean everyone will ask for a tip. $250 should be plenty of money for what you want to do. My first time going was a Friday night at 1030 pm, felt safe the whole trip back and forth. The line back to US walking in was short, was only me and the 6 guys that rode back in the shuttle. I went again on Sunday night and when I was coming back to the US border around 5 am Monday morning the line was like 2 to 3 miles long, luckily I have global entry so I walked right in. Some other tips: When you walk in to the HK, find the nearest bar and buy a drink, and always have a drink in your hand. You can baby the drink all night if you want but it necessary to have a drink in hand. This will keep the bar server guys from bothering you as much. Also if they ask you if you want to get a table, say no unless you are ready to entertain a girl you want to go next door with. But you can also just stick to a regular lap dance with the exception being that you can full on grope these girls, in a lot of cases FIV as well, as opposed to US clubs where you're not allowed to touch. Was the HK ATM giving Pesos? If so, that $100 charge would refer to Pesos and amount to a bit over $5.
Avoid the ATM's in the Zona. They are well known for charging oultandish ATM fees. You should go to a bank ATM is you need to get some money. There is a few banks near 2nd & Revolucion.

I will have some time to myself in the first week of January, and am planning to venture out to the infamous TJ. It will be my first time. After reading many excellent reviews on this board, my plan is fly over to San Diego airport in the evening (around 9 pm), take the trolley to the border, walk through Pedeast, and ride the shuttle to HK. As much as I could read, I am still a bit nervous:
1) Is it safe to get there solo at around 10 pm-ish? Will the HK shuttle be running that late?
2) I will stay in Cascadas. If I find a chica I like in HK, can I just take her up to my room and pay for her time only? What would be the going rate for the girls?
3) Will the chicas return to work from the holidays? I am afraid there won't be enough options right after the new year.

So.
Introduced my brother from another mother (a San Diego native) to Cattle Decapitation at their concert this Saturday prior at the Observatory North Park. It was his first ever "metal show". He doesn't go home, he goes big. He's a god like that.
Despite several of our beverages ending up on the floor (the vibrations were knocking them over on the VIP table), we had a great time. At one point I was on my way back to the balcony after hitting the downstairs front bar for refills and ran into one of Cattle's guitarists (Josh) who was gracious enough to allow a selfie. As I noticed him I reflexively uttered something to the effect of "What in the? I bet the look on my face was priceless. I couldn't have been more proud of my Amigo whom ventured down to the floor for some healthy pit time not once but twice. He's a champion like that. In other news, before the show I did get to partake in some of North Parks finer eats and even walked by an Asian Massage Parlor that I'm almost positive I've read about in this forum. It's on my agenda for a future visit, perhaps next summer. Before I catch a Padres game.
After, the plan was to head to La Zona. We'd hang into the wee hours Sunday, then I'd be solo-dolo until my flight back to Vegas late Tuesday. Fortunately, we got down to the Zona before midnight. I was concerned about missing the 01:00 deadline for check-in. After I got sorted at Rizo we hopped most all the bars, most of which were pretty crowded even La Gloria, Gold Palace, etc. ; and HK had both sides open. Pretty much what I've come to expect on a Saturday night. We had pre-gamed prior to the show, and because I'm a lightweight I was already pretty heady before we started our rounds in La Zona. In addition, and because I am a shit wing-man; I urged my Amigo on to explore more bars while we were in Hong Kong staring at Tea Saucer sized pink areolas sitting on top of some of the biggest naturals I have ever seen on this five foot nuthin' chica shawty. She was a brick house. He was really feeling her, and I wish I could have that one back for him. I was already getting faded so I wasn't in my optimum form; apologies amigo. I did notice an inordinate amount of Policia Municipal pick-up trucks on the prowl for their holiday bonuses that night, so be forewarned if you plan on a quick visit before the holidays. Don't be that guy, don't feed the trolls.
We did eventually end up with a couple of nice chicas in Tropical many bebidas later. It was around 03:00 from what I can make out from some loose text chains. Anyway, I was sitting watching the main stage when a chica hugged me from behind and started whispering in my ear. I caught almost nothing of what she said, but appreciated her bold approach and bought her una cerveza. She was sweet enough, but I couldn't wait to get rid of her. After taking a better look, I noticed her complexion was quite rough and the front of her grill was jacked. She also had that meth hardbody that is so prevalent in my town, and breath that I imagined a rancid squid would smell like. Thankfully, not long after she said "Adios" a gorgeous MILF sat down next to me.

I couldn't have been more proud of my Amigo whom ventured down to the floor for some healthy pit time not once but twice. He's a champion like that. In other news, before the show I did get to partake in some of North Parks finer eats and even walked by an Asian Massage Parlor that I'm almost positive I've read about in this forum. It's on my agenda for a future visit, perhaps next summer. Before I catch a Padres game.
After, the plan was to head to La Zona. We'd hang into the wee hours Sunday, then I'd be solo-dolo until my flight back to Vegas late Tuesday. Fortunately, we got down to the Zona before midnight. I was concerned about missing the 01:00 deadline for check-in. After I got sorted at Rizo we hopped most all the bars, most of which were pretty crowded even La Gloria, Gold Palace, etc. ; and HK had both sides open. Pretty much what I've come to expect on a Saturday night. We had pre-gamed prior to the show, and because I'm a lightweight I was already pretty heady before we started our rounds in La Zona. In addition, and because I am a shit wing-man; I urged my Amigo on to explore more bars while we were in Hong Kong staring at Tea Saucer sized pink areolas sitting on top of some of the biggest naturals I have ever seen on this five foot nuthin' chica shawty. She was a brick house. He was really feeling her, and I wish I could have that one back for him. I was already getting faded so I wasn't in my optimum form; apologies amigo. I did notice an inordinate amount of Policia Municipal pick-up trucks on the prowl for their holiday bonuses that night, so be forewarned if you plan on a quick visit before the holidays. Don't be that guy, don't feed the trolls.
We did eventually end up with a couple of nice chicas in Tropical many bebidas later. It was around 03:00 from what I can make out from some loose text chains. I don't remember leaving the bar or going to my room, taking out my contacts, the girl leaving etc. Despite having a few fotos of her on my phone, I really don't remember much of the girl, but from what I can tell from the pics she was pretty. I used to just do shots of tequila, but I've become accustomed to the lift I get from the energy drink, plus they mix famously. Anyway, I was sitting watching the main stage when a chica hugged me from behind and started whispering in my ear. I caught almost nothing of what she said, but appreciated her bold approach and bought her una cerveza. She was sweet enough, but I couldn't wait to get rid of her. After taking a better look, I noticed her complexion was quite rough and the front of her grill was jacked. She also had that meth hardbody that is so prevalent in my town, and breath that I imagined a rancid squid would smell like. Thankfully, not long after she said "Adios" a gorgeous MILF sat down next to me.
