Unless she gets lucky she won't be getting out for a few years. If somebody on here is a good attorney maybe you can help the poor girl get out of the jam she's in. I really don't think she deserves to be there from what I know.

Are they all drug charges? Or was she forging checks / committing fraud. That seems excessive unless she was wrapped up in a big scheme.

You do not want to be caught up in this person's drama. It's not worth it, no matter how good the service was. You bail her out, she no shows her court date and jumps bail, and now you're pulled into a investigation to locate her. You want no part of this. In earlier posts someone mentioned a dude and a gun. Is he also locked up, or did he already make bail? Is he her pimp, bf, dealer, all 3, something else? Maybe he gets wind of you bailing her out and doesn't take kindly to some other dude messing with his "business" and tracks you down to show you the aforementioned firearm.

You don't want your name attached to any public record linking her activities to you, and bailing her out would do that. Think fondly of her, and find someone else.

I would be super hesitant to do this for a close personal friend outside the hobby, let alone someone I met and primarily interacted with through the hobby.

Don't do it.
