Yeah yeah
Sup H Mobius and to the others asking about Sammy.
She doesn't have an ad that I'm aware of, I met her off of Tinder a few years ago. I'll have to ask if she's okay taking new customers, I'll PM you when I get an answer. Also, I appreciate the tip on Vicky and Yaya Spa.
Passed by Yaya Spa and was surprised to see two comely SYTs giving foot massages.

Yes as Ajarn noted they do get some nice ones through there, but it is more of a special treat.
Chinese place with convenient parking, a couple of doors mauka of CC on Kalakaua Avenue in a building that has an "R & C Tours" sign.
It is a large beautiful quiet place that might have been an AMP years ago. Split AC if you prefer that.
Been seeing primarily May and Tina for some time. They are experienced having worked before in other shops. Supposedly Tina (who does not speak a whole lot of English but is always smiling) got her massage license this year or last, but I enjoy either of them. I do not go for Deep Tissue so cannot comment on that, but I estimate they could do it (but not all day I reckon). Both are very sweet and accommodating.
May's foot massage also feels good. They've had some hot-ish girls pass through but they do not stay. I don't get anything and they do not like to be roamed, but that's probably on me the Caveman and not them. There typically are 2 or 3+ other therapists as well.
L ratings, I'm not into that because it cannot account for the drastic variations in mens' preferences, but I find May hot especially for a legit place, so to me she is L=8; Tina L=7 but could be higher because of her wealth of charm (for me, even a gorgeous woman becomes fugly when acting like an AH). Both are A=9 and S (massage)=8/9 depending on the body part. Tina is probably in her early 50's and May perhaps early 40's with a fit body but I'm just guessing, as cavemen do not receive optical care.
Been here a couple of times and can agree. This is a good legit place. Usually don't get lookers here but so far most have been good at massage. Most are in their 40-50's.
Only downside is that every two rooms have an opening up top for the ac so if you get stuck with a room with a talkative guy you have to listen to the whole conversation. A tourist kinda killed it for me last time he talked for the full fing hour.

They should have the girls remind customers that others are trying to relax.

Inflation yikes.
Jai Dee Thai has been my goto for a good Thai massage and stretching. $60/ h. $90/90 min. Older MTs, 2 favorites strong technics, and 1 younger MT call her are when the other 2 were off or busy. Always legit for me, denied extras, respect and repeat with no complaints.
So I called are, private #, and she moved to another shop at the International Market Place.
I went to check it out and the pricing shocked me.
60 min / $95+ tax.
90 min /$145+tax.
I like to support local businesses but this is too much for me.
Hope your favorite shop doesn't follow. FME.

Awful approach. Massages are pure luxury / discretionary goods. Unlike food or gas or electricity, no one NEEDS a massage, and unlike something like roles or handbags, massages have a shady reputation that doesn't allow for public flexing. Raising the price, especially by so much, will just make people cut it out completely so they can buy groceries. The smart play would actually be to drop prices, offer deals (buy 4 massages get 1 free), etc until inflation stops killing everyone and the economy picks up again, but they won't do that.
Good luck to all these shops raising prices. They'll need it.

Yikes indeed
That's high prices for locals like us. But seeing that they in Waikiki that is a cheaper options for tourists than going to a hotel spa for a massage. Google spa prices in Waikiki, Modern hotel charges 150 for a 50 min massage. They'll get the tourist business, but not much locals for sure.

Targeting the tourists
If they moved into Waikiki, they are still the cheapest option in the immediate area. Regular hotels charging 165/215 for 50/80 min massages. I guarantee high end places like the Ritz Carlton is charging even more. They should be able to draw in the tourists; but higher operating costs with rent etc might only end up in a wash for them in profits.

Coral
Was heading to Don Quijote and noticed this place the other night. Looks legit, but then again looks can be deceiving. Anyone try? Couldn't find any reports. They're on Kalkaua by Asia spa and beach spa.
Stopped by at night and was led to the room by the person working the front desk. I asked how many therapists were working and was told was slow tonight. I wanted to take a shower first and was given a towel directed to the bathroom. Got back to the room and the MT Thai / Chinese 40's was there. Seems that Coral has the location on Kalakaua and another one in CC. The mama had called her from the CC branch and the MT hurried over while I was in the shower. Good massage session with a focus to work on the knots. Wasn't looking for extras and didn't get the vibe that they were available from this one. Maybe they are from a different provider there. The room I was in was kind of small, she had to move the table a bit to be able to walk around easily. Had a shower after the session to rinse off. Paid for the session and tipped out, they thanked my and was on my way. I would go back for a regular session or maybe to do some recon again.

Many of the shops in CC have a limited staff. They rely on on-call, freelance MTs, especially for walk-ins. At least one indie MT lives at CC. Usually these Thai FL MTs give a pro massage, but seem to be strictly legit.

Coconuts
It's been a while, hopefully everything same same. Treat Niece Coco well, this one cool. Enjoy. . .
Oh Happy Day fellow Uncles and Nephews.
Uncle Roger has been missing this one, been like two years already, 21 months to be exactly, but who's counting. Niece Coco is not just any other California Cab that is rich and full of attitude. Niece Coco is more like a California Merlot, still rich and full bodied, yet a bit softer, mellower and really down to earth. Less attitude makes things go down so much smoother and makes for a much more enjoyable session. Forgot to mention, Niece Coco actually got skills, as she does a great deep tissue.

She is fine!
Does she belong in the legit only section? Asking for a friend. .
