Just think about it from the booker's perspective. By providing you with a reference, she is giving up your business to a competing booker, at least for that one appointment. Why would she be willing to do that? The only reason is because she values your repeat business. She wants you to come back to her in the future. Therefore, in most cases, you need to be a repeat customer with multiple appointments.

Keep using your current booker for a while and, sometime down the road, she will probably be willing to provide you with a reference. Then, rinse & repeat with other bookers.
