Replied before I saw this, apologies
Yes she was in Chicago when I was talking to her. Her profile does say she is between CH and MN.
Removing the Seeking app from the iPhone is what did most of the damage to Seeking. Most of these girls have iPhones and if it's not an app, they are much less likely to log into a website. It also seems less "legit". When it's in the Apple store, it means legitimacy.
After that, the recent boom in job availability in the last few years means there are fewer desperate women. You can get a $20/ hr job easily right now. That simply wasn't the case six or seven years ago.
I think it's also overlooked how much harder it is now for Asian and Eastern European women to fly into the country and escort for six months. In 2017 it became much harder to get a visa from some countries and there was a lot more enforcement of already existing restrictions. There used to be a safety valve on Seeking where if the girls were asking too much, you could visit a hot eastern European girl in her twenties for less than $300. Now that's not really possible, so there's effectively more bargaining power on the supply side.
That's a good point about removing the app, it would be interesting if there's any data on how much it has hurt them. I read the regular dating tinder / Hing / Bumble are losing members as people are just getting tired of them, but I don't know if you could make any connections as Seeking is not really in the same market.
Also, $20/ hr job might be good, but with inflation, I don't know if that $20 really goes that far anymore?

She got nervous
So this girl wanted to hookup and just have sex nsa and wasn't even worried about money, she was just horny. We were texting for a hour or two and she seems legit and texts are going good, then she asked for the address and then 10 minutes of silence and then she says she was nervous and couldn't meetup and apologized.
Anyone else have experience with this one?
Also, $20/ hr job might be good, but with inflation, I don't know if that $20 really goes that far anymore?
This may be outside the scope of the board's topic space. But inflation-adjusted personal consumption is at an all-time high and debt as a percentage of income (which is obviously normalized for inflation by its nature) hasn't been lower in recent memory. And, again, within the last five years the bottom quintile of income has improved more in these categories than upper quintiles, relatively.
It's simply an excellent time in America to be a low-income worker. Which doesn't mean there aren't other factors affecting the availability of and access to sugar babies. Strip clubs, for example, do not do better not when girls are desperate due to a poor economy. *They do better when the economy is booming and guys have money to spend on strippers. * When the strip clubs are full of guys throwing cash around, girls who are on the fence about stripping can't resist the lure of easy money and get onto the pole. There's certainly a similar dynamic in play in the SB space, but it's not clear to me exactly how it all fits together.
But we talk a lot hear about the "good old days" of Seeking when it was full of hot sorority girls who were inviting you into their dorm for $250. But this probably has something to do with the guys on there too. If every guy on seeking is a handsome orthodontist who lets you use his boat, why not bang him for a little extra cash? Once the goons who used to spend time on Backpage create profiles and inundate the site with "how much for CIP?" messages, it must keep some of those girls out of the bowl.
That's the big difference between being an escort and being a sugar baby. Escorts fuck whoever opens the door. Sugar babies get to decide who they see. It's similar to how you'll see some "regular" girls escorting in Vegas casinos from time to time. It's a lot more appealing of a way to make money if you have an good idea about who you're getting into bed with. And there's no doubt that as Seeking has increased its profile, there's an increase in low-quality men on the site too. And if girls need to wade through them and learn how to avoid them (and get turned off by them), it's going to keep them from making profiles or staying on the site. We regularly get guys on this board, for example, who brag about not paying girls who are too inexperienced or feel too awkward or dirty to ask for it. I *always* put money in their purse or pants pocket or something like that without asking because I know a 19 year old girl who's never fucked a guy her father's age in a hotel room before is going to feel like a hooker if she's forced to say "where's my money?
The last couple years have been difficult for software engineers--a career which had boomed incredibly for several years before and is now in a correction--but the employment rate and incomes for service jobs are at all time lows and highs, respectively. Barista, server, hostess, bartender and similar jobs are readily available. The unemployment rate in the last two years has been between 3. 4- and 4. 1%, the lowest in my lifetime. In 2012, you needed a college degree to get some service jobs. Today some businesses I patronize have reduced hours because they can't find enough part time workers to remain open.
And, of course, the jobs pay much more now. The largest percentage of income gains in the last five years have accrued to the bottom quintile.
All of this means that in 2012 to 2018 or so, it took some work to find a job you could do 20-24 hours a week. And if you got one, it paid about $10/ hr. Now people will hire you on your terms and you can probably expect to make $18/ hr, perhaps more if you're a pretty white girl with good communication skills..
100%. People talk about inflation a lot but if you look at the lower end jobs they have all seen increases.
With that said, I'm not sure if $500 for laying down for 30-60 minutes is a bad deal, even if hourly wage is $20/ hour.

This is great news for the USA Economy. It's bad news if you are hoping to see hot girls reluctantly create a Seeking profile because they need $500 to pay sorority dues.
Let's be real here for a moment. 18 dollars an hour is absolutely horrendous in today's economy. I'm at 65 an hour with three investment properties and I feel the inflation. You can't seriously type that with a straight face. I rent my properties for close to 2 k a month per unit. You need to make 35/40 an hour to afford that.

You forgot OF. That has an impact than the 20/ hr job.

Info in Ashley
Anyone have any information on Ashley? She wants me to call her. Just want to be as educated as possible in case she's a scammer.

But when I was in college, I often could not afford to buy a newspaper because I wanted to save that dollar for something else. One of my recent SBs who worked at Starbucks had no problem paying $20 for parking. She wanted my money for luxuries.
The last few years it's easy to find work that fits a college girl's schedule and the pay would be about $30- to $40,000 a year if it was done full time. If her folks are paying for tuition and some living expenses, it means that fewer students are unable to afford pizza or spring break. Which makes a sugar daddy something they are less likely to consider.

She is on sa again
I have been on and off on SA, had some good experiences, some bad. But never really got scammed. This one was kinda first time for me. Contacted on SA, exchanged contact and deal was set for 400. Came to my hotel on time. We chatted over few drinks and when things were about to get interesting she made an excuse to go to bathroom and left. Unfortunately the money was exchanged already at this point. She was so desperate that she ran away in her bra and pants.
Profile is no longer active on SA. But the username was Twisha and the tag line said "Let's go out for dinner, 420 friendly". The contact she shared was 773906XXXX. Also had the audacity to ask more money later through cash app. The cash app Id is $lovingpam51X. If someone can identify this scammer please let everyone know.
New profile:

I like that and I've never had any issues except for the girls that are obviously trying to scam you like her she said no thanks and left the conversation.
