I make an effort to respond to what legit messages I received regardless of if I'm interested or not. And I in no way feel like I'm entitled to anything. Simple respect goes a long way with me. I've had some nice chats with girls who messaged me. And I've also been stood up on dates. Maybe that's the price we have to pay, but there are way too many game players on that site. I had the same thing happen to me and I complained to SA and my CC and I got a full refund from my CC and a 3/4 refund (that was about what was left for my monthly membership) from SA. Bigger risk than LE, by far, is scam, rob, blackmail etc. It pays to be cautious even with SA gals. And some SA gals are hookers who also advertise on other sites. If they regularly see lots of different guys at their residence the LE risk goes up some as neighbors might complain to LE. If she's just an ordinary SB type, and not a pro hooker, your LE risk is pretty small I would think.
I personally like the first M&G in a public place, and most SA gals do too. Much easier to just walk away then if she's not what she appears to be, or if you get a bad vibe from her.
