Try this in addition to the "usual solutions" instead
I am sure that there are a few older guys on this forum that have encountered Edward before. There are the usual solutions that are generally taken orally and some have some significant side effects. I just wanted to pass along my experience with an alternative solution. I still use a couple of the oral remedies from time to time, as it does allow for a little more spontaneity. If you are in the local area you have probably heard the advertisements for Florida Men's Medical Clinic. I decided to check it out. This isn't for everyone, and is a little on the expensive side. I will say however that it did work for me. It took a few times to get the dosage right though, and after increasing my dosage several times they finally switched the medication to a stronger variant. The actual medication is prostaglandin-e1, and there is a lot of information about it easily available, just search for it.
You have the option of how long you would like for it to remain effective, (within safe limitations of course). They said most patients request the dosage for about 90 minutes. That was where I had a problem with the dosage, it was working just not as long as I wanted it to. One major difference between this treatment and the typical oral medications is that you inject it about 5-10 minutes before use. Hold slight pressure at the injection site to ensure no bleeding for about 5 minutes. As long as you are carefull about where you inject, there will be very little if any bleeding. They provide an automatic injector that limits the depth of the injection for safety. I do recommend if you pursue this however that you simply order your own from a diabetic supply rather than letting them supply it. (The mark up was crazy, they charged me $199 for the injector, and I bought one to have on the road from an on line supply for about $30). After you are sure there is no bleeding you gently squeeze and massage outward a few times to ensure disbursement of the medication. For anyone that cringed that the thought of the injection, where the injection is made there are no nerve endings to speak of and honestly you never feel the needle. What you do feel is a slight thump which is the spring loaded plunger bottoming out.
Another difference is in that once your first goal is reached so to speak, you remain in the same physical state as before (heck, I haven't been able to do that since I was in my early 20's!)
Once my dosage was right I must say that I wear out before it wears off and that is some kind of fun!
Here is the one negative aspect of this solution, remember I mentioned it wasn't cheep. 50 Doses was about $1300 which included the initial consultation.
Floridamensclinic com is the site if you are interested.
Their office is very confidential and you can't even tell what kind of office it is when you approach the receptionist. They actually use a reception service that is for multiple businesses. When you check in you simply state you are there to see Dr. (Name) and they will come out ang get you a few minutes later. I never saw more that two people in the lobby and they were there to see a law firm, or making a delivery. All very discreet.
If anyone has any specific questions, PM me.
My understanding is that a supplement called "L-ARGININE" is very closely related to the most popular "usual solution". It's available over-the-counter in stores everywhere just like multi-vitamins, vitamin C, etc. Some "experts" even recommend it instead of an 81 mg aspirin daily because it has no possible "stomach issues".
I've seen recommended doses as high as 5000 mg / daily. I started at 500 mg / daily and slowly worked my way to 5000 mg / daily with no side effects. I take the supplement daily and the "usual solution" about 1-2 hours before "post time". For all I know all of these things are a "placebo effect" but the 19-24's rarely complain about my 61 (they better not LOL).
