Seriously, I have never had any issues, there are some scammers on SA, but they are pretty obvious. Just make sure you don't send pictures that are used on any of your social media sites. If you have been chatting and you get a number pretty certain they are serious, if a girl will meet you without seeing a picture first. That would be more of a flag for me.
