If there's nothing but selfies, I'm inclined to believe she's indie if she's got photos that aren't taken in a studio, it sets off a little alarm in my head that something may not be quite right. (That being said, I did know a girl who liked her clients taking photos of her and used them in her ads, but that was one girl out of the 20+ years I've been doing this.).
I've also noticed that girls that are pimped tend to have tattoos, generally that look the same, on places like their quads and forearms. I'm sure there's some kind affiliation with what pimp / crew / whatever, and probably information running around LE circles with more info about this. Pimps are all about marking the girls as their property, after all.
Finally, there's little things that don't make sense. Like you're talking to the girl, it's obvious she knows the lingo and has been around, but she doesn't have any reviews. And when she says she doesn't have any reviews, she just says, "No," not "What are reviews? What are those websites you're talking about?" If you're an indy, being on those review boards and sites like these are your lifeblood.
Or, they do have reviews, they tell you they have reviews but they're all shitty reviews, except for one or two exceptions, like they've never seen them, they just know they have them (and someone's trying to not make their service as bad as it really is).
Also, any girl advertising on BP raises a flag for me, just because of how many girls are pimped out on the site (or just because so many of the girls use fake photos).
One more thing: some girls have "bookers", who are usually other women, who just handle their phone calls and coordinate their work schedules for a cut. I haven't seen this so much in Hawaii, but I saw it a lot in LA, OC and Vegas.. Obviously though, DM808, your story is clearly one where a pimp was involved.
