They will give you a proof of application and they Mexican immigration will accept it. You have to make a appointment for the passport acceptance office. Make sure you have the proper documents. You will need your birth certificate and utility bill that has your current address. Drivers license. SDSU has a passport acceptance facility in San Diego for same day passport. You have to make appointment first thing in the morning.

Personally I have not seen them sending to many US citizens without a passport. The CBP have access to DL records and use it to verify your citizenship. I told her don't worry about her, she's not my wife or girlfriend. I can do what I want, but no she won't get mad. Stop stressing about her. She then started telling me about several places we could go hang out at one day and was showing me her entire camera roll and stuff. Her babysitter then started calling her asking where she was at and she said she would be home soon and told me she had to go. I told her no you're staying with me tonight, just joking around, but she said she had to go back with her daughter otherwise she would stay with me. I told her to get the babysitter to watch her overnight one of these days so we can spend the night together and she said ok. Finally paid the tab with my visa and it was only twenty bucks. Until now that's what it's still showing up as, so hopefully it stays that way and won't get hit with some other type of sketchy fee, but I'll keep an eye on it. We headed out and I dropped her off at a taxi so she could head home. After that I had to head home myself so I just did one final lap around the club before I left, it seemed like a lot of girls had shown up to work for the late shift, but I had to run out of there before I was tempted to spend money that I didn't have. Checked out and caught a free ride to the border from the HK limo. No wait in line on foot and saw a big homeless looking chick with another homeless looking guy arguing by the trolley then she started beating the shit out of him. What's the easiest way to get into and out of Tijuana for a monger from out of state? Obviously I'll have my passport and I'd but still curious. Hi Guys, I moved from SD 13 years ago. First time I went to TJ as an "adult" was when I was 16,50 years ago. We would go to the Unicornio with the live band and eat next door at Chiki Jai. Or Tortas for 25 cents back in the 70's.
Anyway. Its been a year since I went to TJ. Ill be doing biz in SD on Thursday and Friday then relax in TJ on Saturday and Sunday then drive back on Monday. Ill stay and have reservations at the Ticuan. Plan to commute to SD for biz on Thursday and Friday. I just purchase a fairly nice new truck. I just received SENTRI on it, so I want to drive across. Question is: just how F'd up is TJ as far as car jackings and stealing the truck? I could park it at the car lot robbers behind Jack in the Box and walk across. I want to drive. Is it risky?
With the background info of 50 years of playing in TJ, my spanish was pretty good 13 years ago. Now I can't hear worth a toot so can barely understand English. Do I drive across or just not worth it? My buddies say I'm nuts to even go to TJ. I miss TJ and can't wait to get back. Mariscos, carwash next to the Waffle place up by La Vuelta, too old for Las Pulgas, I will only drive from Border to Ticuan, then Walk or Taxi Libre everywhere else. Solo traveler. Do I drive new truck across or just not worth it? Damn truck cost more than what I paid for a house in Normal Heights back in the day.

There has been some car break in's. But I don't believe it is a big problem. You might to consider parking at one of the trolley stops or parking at a paid lot near downtown. Personally I never drive in TJ. It is simply not worth the trouble of having to wait crossing the border. There is also the issue of having to pay for Mexican insurance, The biggest issue is that cops look for gringos to extract bribes for. Finally it is much easier to walk to Zona or take a taxi van.
