My introduction to Broadway
Back when the strip clubs and notell were over on admiral wilson before christie todd shut them down, I got a room at the no tell and walked to the strip clubs to drink. I was living better through chemistry back then but like 2 weekends a month and I was indulging that weekend. I was immune to the alcohol. I walked back to the motel from I think it was called the french quarter and on the way met a cute mixed girl in her early 20's who said she'd show me a good time if I let her get a shower and wash her clothes in my room. I said sure and off we went arm and arm back to the motel. She was good to her word. I ended up giving 20 for each pop and she slept for a few hours and we played again, she showered and put her clean dry clothes on and thanked me for being cool and not doing anything to he while she slept. I got a bargain and she was far from having much street mileage on her. It was like I picked up a college girl. Nothing like that has happened in a long time to me. I wonder if shit like that is gone or if its just stuff younger guys encounter.
I was traveling for business and I went thru the McDonald's drive thru off Rt 38 in Cherry Hill when I spotted a girl crying on the curb. I pulled up and asked her what happened and she explained that some guy left her stranded without a ride back. I asked her how far she needed to go and when the answer was 10 minutes, I offered a ride.
Little did I know that she was headed back to Broadway, my first trip to Camden was to drop this chick off. Once we got there, she told me she didn't have any money but she would be willing to blow me for $20 and swallow. As they often say, the rest is history. I have mongered Broadway ever since never seeing her but getting plenty of headache relief along the way.
