If you have not already done so, I suggest you run a thorough scan with your anti virus software. Also consider installing malwarebytes from malwarebytes.com, its free BTW, to check for any other nasties that these web sites may have tried to slip into your computer.

That ad is definately a scam. I have seen the same ad running in several different cities at the same time. Another tip-off, there is no phone number listed in the ad. You can only make contact thru e-mail. Never waste your time with an ad that has no phone number listed.
They place that because it works. Lots of guys go for it. But not our Bill.
Did anyone else see this today? The past few weeks, someone has been posting ads alleging some girls are using fake pics, citing TinEye. Today, an ad shows a 8 or 9 girls, alleging all using fakes citing TinEye. All except one, which the ad states "Tineye reveals no hits but obviously look stolen".

Now, anyone who has spent any time in the hobby has developed a spidey-sense about fake pics, and most of the pics being alleged as fakes most probably are. But I'm curious why any hobbyist would go to such lengths and spend their own money to buy ads on Backpage to warn other hobbyists. Is there really a hobbyist Robin Hood out there?

If that is really going on, I smell Josh, or some other asshole with very Josh-y type ideas.
On the other hand, most of these fake pic ads have proven to be Kimber, who is probably tired of having to get a new cellphone and identity every time an old one has been exposed. Some or all of these protest ads may have come from her.
Why does this guy go to the trouble or expense of these ads? It's either a guy who got ripped off and is bent on revenge or a scam artist a la Josh.
That Tineye plug-in is very easy and useful.
