A short trip down the 5 to Chula Vista you can find some really good deals. I've done May/June for as little as $40/night weekday, $50/night weekend @ Royal Vista & Motel 6, and that as recent as 2005. Both are ok if you're not too picky. Also puts you walking distance from the trolley if you want to do TJ.

Berkshire Motor Hotel, 2502 El Cajon Blvd, $55/night incl tax last summer, reasonably clean, old, not fancy, didn't try bringing girl to room but it looks possible. One star.
Lafayette Hotel, 2223 El Cajon Blvd, $81/night incl tax & cont breakfast last fall, dirty carpets, faded elegance, nice pool. Two stars.

Personally, I think the Berkshire is too much of a dump. Any motel on ECB and west of College Avenue is going to be a dump. There are some nicer places on the east end of ECB in the city of La Mesa.

Don't know what is going on. I was actually in Orange County yesterday and cruised Harbor from the 5 to the 405 and absolutely nothing, zip, nadda. On may way back to San Diego cruised El Cajon and there was only a BSW near the 15, the latina Veronica who is a waste, and finally saw Danni. Picked her up. More expensive but the girl has a smoking body and is really a sweet girl. Hopefully action will pick up after the holiday.

Holidays are typically dead 'cuz hoes & tricks have family to spend time with. Danni is a special case. when she is in SD, she is here to work. I noticed that she is out more often than Karli. It's quite possible that stops that cops are conducting is tied to camera the cameras that were installed about 4 or 5 weeks. It's a bit hard for me to tell since I have not been out since last Monday I believe.
