I say if you can finish in 1/2 hour don't pay for more. If you want multi pops or you take the full hour then most providers will want you to pay for it.
You are correct that many will take the full hour price and rush you out as quickly as you finish. Other providers may have more on the menu for the hour price, like BBBJ instead of CBJ, or limit the number of position in a 1/2 hour session.

For some of us old guys we worry more about not being able to get up for the task rather than finishing too soon. Everybody has something to worry about.
